  1. This is true. The OL & WRs were horrible as we had no money to pay for good players because of how much dead cap space we carried that year. 30% of their total cap was dead cap space. It sucked that year, but it got us to where we needed to be alot quickier.
  2. Yeah, he's definitely becoming one of the best deep threats in the NFL. I also have been wondering how a guy with average speed gets open deep so often. I remember first thinking about it in the season finale of the 2020 season against Miami. Caught a couple deep balls from Barkley that day.
  3. Which has absolutely nothing to do with this year. The kid lost a sibling at a very early age and is still probably in mourning. I'm sure most will give him a pass for this year, just as I am.
  4. You missed my 2 favorites "Patriots may have a qb"(Pretty sure all teams have a couple) and "How valuable is Hyde anyways?" I'm half expecting his next thread to be tititled "Josh Allen.....do we really need him?"
  5. Wentz hit the wall? Never heard of a QB hitting the wall in their 7th year(Besides Gus Frerotte doing it in his 4th year).
  6. Or classic threads such as Patriots may have a QB, or the newly popular How valuable is Hyde really. Ah, the gifts that keep on giving.😂 But what about the additional beating the defending Super Bowl Champs? That was part of it.
  7. Far, far too advanced for him. Remember, if you can't see it and it's not shown on the TV broadcast did it even happen?
  8. Better question, how much of that WOULD be done by a cheaper model?
  9. I would counter with, more threads!! Where else are you going to see such bad takes? He's currently got 2 up near the top of the 1st page, but I believe he's been holding back on us. I know there's a hundred more bad takes just dying to come out.
  10. Good thing he's still on his rookie contract this year. At a $2.6 million cap hit this year, I would say he's well worth the money.
  11. If that was the case I'm pretty sure Beane would've let them walk and not given them hefty pay raises. I'm sure he knows both scheme and what players are needed to run it. With how tight we are on cap space, if he could've let them walk and used the money on another marquee player or two, he would've done so in a second.
  12. Oh no. This was someone openly questioning whether we should trade Tre because the rookies are playing so well.
  13. So, so far this month I have learned we don't need Hyde or White. Learning alot this October.😂
  14. Correct. Josh's last play was a 14 yard TD pass to Diggs with 5:34 remaining in the 3rd.
  15. Yeah, but the same law multiple times? Maybe the first time he thought it was illegal for not having enough gun, hence the uzi the 2nd time around.😄
  16. OL play is definitely one of the biggest reasons, but lack of practice time is one of the driving forces for that. That coupled with kids wanting to be at "star" positions.....QBs, WRs, CBs & DEs.
  17. I was thinking the other day that with Aaron Rodgers coming to town on Sunday we will be playing another former MVP. Seems like we played a few this year already and the defending Super Bowl Champs. If we win on Sunday we will have already beaten the last 4 MVPS(Mahomes 2018, Lamar 2019 & Rodgers 2020 & 2021) & the defending Super Bowl Champs by our 7th game. Seems like a tough thing to do. Does anyone know if this has ever been done before?
  18. And what you're proposing is they are going to go 10-1 in their last 11. Why, for the life of me I can't figure out. Their best win this year is against a beat up team with a losing record, who have also lost to the Bears, Falcons & Broncos this season.😂 The Chiefs lost to the Colts, the Colts the same team who just benched Ryan for Sam Ehlinger(Who?). That's how desperate that team is. Yet you find it impossible to believe they finish 9-2 on their last 11, an incredible .810 winning percentage no less. In today's NFL, even for one of the best QBs, that's hard to do. Their strength of schedule through 7 weeks is the 4th easiest in the league. Their opponents win percentage is .432 and if you remove the Bills game that drops to .389.😂 Outside of the Buffalo game they've had a cakewalk so far this year. Yet let's live in fear like they're the 2007 Pats*** or something(Far from it). Done duscussing this, I've made my case. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
  19. Yes, if asked what their "quality win" of the year is, the response would be them beating a team with a losing record(Who have lost to the Bears, Falcons & Broncos). They haven't beat a good team yet this year and lost to a team that's in the bottom third of the league.
  20. You say that about the Chargers & Raiders, yet both almost beat KC in their house. Now KC will be on the road trying to beat both. That coupled with them being divisional rivals. I see a loss in 1 of those 2 games, I don't see KC going 6-0 in the division. We'll see.
  21. You seem to be a prisoner of the moment because of what happened on Sunday. Again they got out played against the Chargers, at home, and were lucky to get a pick six or else they probably lose. And the Chargers don't look good at all this year, they're 4-3 and have no quality wins. Then they almost lost at home to the Raiders, who entered the game 1-3 and currently sit 2-4 with wins against the Broncos and Texans. The Chiefs have maybe 1 quality win, the 49ers, and they don't even have a winning record. They could easily drop 2 of the 4 games they play against The Chargers - They split in 2020 & 2021. Already played the Chiefs tough this year, out gaining them by 100. The 4th quarter pick 6 killed the Bolts. The next game is in LA The Raiders - as you noted they usually split. Lose a heart breaker at Arrowhead when they went for 2 and didn't get it late in the 4th. This game was about as evenly matched as there is. Raiders out gained them by 10 yards and both teams had 0 turnovers. Next game is in Vegas. The Bengals - Went 2-0 against the Chiefs last year, including the playoffs, where they spotted the Chiefs a 21-3 lead. Some teams just match up well against certain teams, maybe the case here? This game is in Cincy. Seahawks - They look a lot better than anyone would've guessed thanks to Geno. If this was played in the next couple weeks I probably wouldn't give them much of a chance with Metcalf out. But they don't play until Christmas Eve, so that shouldn't be a problem.
  22. The Bears had 7 scoring drives, 4 of them FGs. Add to that kneeling the ball down on the goal line and Chicago could've hung 45-50 on them.
  23. He's not a good QB, but I liked his heart tonight. The only other game I've ever seen him in was last weeks game against Washington. He looked way better in this game, but that's not saying a whole lot.😄
  24. BB in his last 40 games is 20-20.
