  1. More like the coal mine.
  2. I can't believe anyone cares enough to take up the NFL's cause. I don't believe anyone has stated that he's a significant piece of the NFL's success. That's just taking something that was said, to a much lesser extent, and over exaggerating what was really stated. But for you to call him a nobody is ridiculous. NFL Films doesn't go to bat and get the NFL to cave for nobodies. Maybe it is because "nobody" has ever got the NFL to cave when it comes to money. Ever. I don't know your real opinion of him, but to me it comes off as I don't like him, therefore he's a nobody who's wrong. We just saw results that proved otherwise. It's like rooting for Goliath instead of David. Give me the underdog every...single....time. For once over the top greed didn't win, hip hip hooray!!! Score one for the good guys!! Ef the NFL and all their billionaires.
  3. Much of this is pure nonsense. You don't like the guy, that's fine, but you're so far off-base in your response it's not even funny. He's one of the hardest working people in sports & media. Daily podcast, WWE announcer, WWE wrestler, on College GameDay. He's far from a nobody without this gig. And this just in.......the NFL CAVED.😂😂
  4. But I would think he would draw double teams on almost every pass play because of the lack of weapons around him. If I'm a betting man, he's either going back to the Rams because he loves it in LA or he's going to go to a team that can go deep in the playoffs and has a premiere QB. He's probably going to play little to none until mid to late December. He's going to need playoff games to show he's recovered from the ACL surgery.
  5. Doesn't matter, he's being wasted anyways because Lamar struggles to throw outside the numbers. 18 games 800 yards 3 TDs 36 First Downs. He's had 2 good games, so far, in his career. I don't think there’s a Shot of that happening. OBJ is going to want a QB that can sling it all over the field, so he can look good and get that final big contract.
  6. Yes, those years as well, but the mid 90s - 2001 is the time period I really became a fan and started watching every single game religiously.
  7. I've had many of those type of injuries while working myself. 3 Shoulder surgeries, hernia surgery, shattered foot, herniated discs ect. Except I haven't been compensated millions a year for them. I'd rather be them.
  8. It doesn't matter, he's being wasted because Lamar can't throw outside the numbers. His career to date: 18 games 800 yards 3 TDs 36 First Downs. He's had 2 good games in a year and a half.
  9. I think you need to watch some Sabres games from the mid 90s - the early 2000s. With Hasek in net and Rick Jeanneret on the play by play. That's the time period that sticks out for me. IMO RJ was one of the best play by play guys in any sport. He had so many catch phrases and memorable calls. A few of my favorites He shoots, he scooooooores!! Top shelf where momma hides the cookies! La-la-la-la-la-la-LaFontaine! Call a cop, he robbed him blind! May Day! We're going back to where Jimmy Hoffa is! More cheap shots than a Mexican Cantina! Man, I loved that dude.
  10. Yes. That would lead me to believe there are stretches of sloppiness on offense. Maybe not turnovers, but sloppiness all the same.
  11. The Eagles must have some sloppiness in there somewhere. They have more drives and less points than the Bills.
  12. Yes there's been some sloppy play, but the offense is scoring almost 50% more points per drive(2.8) than the league average(1.9). This includes all drives in which we were kneeling the ball at the end of the half and end of the game. So you could drop maybe about 5-6 drives right there and the true number would be a little over 3.0. Not sure what the number is now, but as of 2015(All the info I could find) only 7 offenses had ever cracked the 3 points per drive barrier. Less drives in a game, might be a factor also. The average number of drives has been steadily declining for over a decade. Sunday night's 27 points don't seem like alot, but when you consider Buffalo only had 8 drives plus 1 kneel down, they averaged 3.4 points a drive(not counting the kneel down) Sunday night. Again the league average is 1.9
  13. They've played a bunch of bad teams. When they did play a decent team they've gotten handled pretty easy, losing to the Bengals and Ravens by 15 each. They've only played 1 high powered passing offense, the rest have been a bunch of below average to just plain bad passing attacks. Their biggest test of the year comes this Sunday against the Bills.
  14. I think we need more time to see how good he really is. Aside from the Bengals game he's played some really bad QB/WR combos so far this year. GB has a good QB, but no WRs, Miami has good WRs, but was playing a third string QB. All the rest are really bad.
  15. That's what 26 sacks and 1 1/2 years of missed time in 4 1/2 years gets you nowadays, I guess. Glad the Bills didn't do something like this. We got a better DE in FA for less money.😂
  16. Miami and Chubb agree to an extension. 5 years $119 million. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34938123/sources-dolphins-lb-bradley-chubb-agree-119m-extension
  17. Can see Sauce locking down Davis, no way he's locking down Diggs without alot of help. I personally don't think anyone can lock down Diggs one on one. Especially after putting on 10 pounds of muscle in the offseason. You can definitely see it in his play this year. He's not just a finesse player anymore, he's got a mean streak in him now.
  18. I think he should've got at least an A- like the other 3 DL got. He and Settle were collapsing the pocket all night, blowing up pass plays. Rodgers had his interior line in his lap most of the night.
  19. I'm starting to warm up to this young man.
  20. I thought he was Buffalo's most disruptive player on defense Sunday night. He collapsed the pocket into Rodgers over and over again. And was the single biggest reason the Packers refused to pass the ball even though they were down 17 in the 2nd half.
  21. I'll take the candy, you can have the nuts.
  22. That sounds about right.
  23. How big of an impact will the trade for Chubb make on Miami being able to win the Super Bowl. According to Vegas, none. +3,000 before the trade, +3,000 afterwards.
  24. How does Hill have 961 yards in 8 games, but only 2 Tuddys? Both came in the same game no less(Balt.).
