  1. I would say it would be hard to imagine the injury situation being worse. Possible, yes....probable, no.
  2. Given your scenario the Bills wouldn't have any of their injured returning before the playoffs? I don't think anyone believes with the current injuries on the Bills that they would have a good shot at winning a title if the playoffs were to start next week. But they don't start next week and as far as we know we may have everyone back from injury by the playoffs, including Micah. That and Josh and Tre have another month and a half to get where they need to be. Most teams would not be able to continue to win games with the amount of injuries and quality of players lost that have plagued the Bills since week #2. Von's injury today marked the 4th time this year the defense has lost an All-Pro player. 23 full games lost by just All-Pros this year and at least 4 partials. Add to that countless games lost to other starters and important backups. Plus Josh's elbow injury, Tre being out longer than most thought, a tougher schedule than it appeared at the start of the season and it's a minor miracle we're sitting at 8-3.
  3. His biggest problem is his girlfriend!!! Ever since she made him shave his beard off for his Halloween custom he hasn't been the same.
  4. I think the snow storm might scare him away. Can't remember where I heard it, but apparently good weather and money are the 2 biggest factors in his decision.
  5. Not true. McDermott said after the game that the plan was for him to play 15-20 snaps. He played the first 2 series(15 plays).
  6. What is your definition of quite a few touches? Except for week 2 and last week, Cook has never touched the ball more than 6 times in a game. He averages 25% more yards per rush and 40% more yards per catch than Singletary.
  7. Is it Josh's fault, or anyone else's for that matter, that Mahomes didn't play in his 1st 15 games? The record is for their 1st 5 years in the league, not as a starter. That would be a totally different record, such as the best 5 year span of their career.
  8. He played about 25% of the snaps. Did you think he wasn't coming back on a pitch count? McDermott said they were thinking in the 15-20 play range before the game, he played the first 2 series(15 plays).
  9. Cook just seems like he has big play written all over him. He's a rookie, who hasn't played much, so you're going to get some missed plays and some bad ones, but that's what getting game time experience is for. I would like to see Cook get about 50% of the workload, Singletary 35% and now Hines has been here for almost a month start sprinkling him in some also(15%).
  10. He can absolutely still make these throws with a sprained UCL, but it comes with a risk of further injury and knowing it's going to hurt like hell after the throw. Once his body cools down after a game I bet he's in alot of pain. Some people have the mental toughness to do this, most don't. That's why you see him taking most the risks in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line. As Romo said he's trying to use his body's momentum to take strain off the elbow. The best example I can give you is go watch the TD pass to Diggs last week. He literally falls down from putting his whole body into that throw.
  11. No, no we're not. The Beasley you're referring didn't exist in the 2nd half of last season and hasn't returned. His numbers were down drastically the last 10 or so last year(counting playoffs). In a game where we scored a td on every possession he caught 1 pass, on 1 target. And that didn't come until late in the 3rd, in a game that was all but over long before then.
  12. The Vikings are a weird team. At their best they win close games. At their worst they get blown out. They win by an average of 6.6 points, but lose by an average of 27 points They're 8-2, but have a -2 point differential lol. That almost seems impossible. Every team from the NFC North has a minus point differential and only Tampa has a positive point differential in the the NFC South, at +3. In contrast the AFC East is the only division in football that has all 4 teams with a positive point differential.
  13. With Tre & Micah out, Poyer becomes all that more important. They are 6-0 when he starts and 1-3 when he doesn't. Their only win without him came against a rookie QB, starting for the 1st time, but he still threw for over 300 yards. I think injuries have had a far bigger impact on the defensive struggles of late. Just in recent games we haven't had Hyde, Poyer, White, Milano, Edmunds, Elam & Groot. That's tall task to replace that many players. That and coaching far more conservative when there are that many players are out.
  14. Who has he played that's on Diggs level, Hill? They played the Dolphins when they were playing a 3rd string QB. Besides the Bengals they've played against some horrible passing teams. Denver, GB, NE, Pitt, Balt and the Browns. Today isn't a big test day for Diggs, but it is for Sauce.
  15. Depends what seed they get. If they were to have the #1 seed locked up, I would think starters would still play till halftime of week 18. They would already have the bye week and McDermott would have to worry about them coming out in the playoffs rusty from too much time away from live action. Some time off to heal and rest is good, too much can end your season just as quick as an injury(Minus Allen).
  16. Josh's contract hasn't even kicked in and it's already a steal. Because of that, the Pegulas willingness to spend, McBeane and soon.....a ballooning salary cap, our window is WIDE open.
  17. I think Hines will be active and play on Sunday, even if it's only as a PR. Beane stated that Shakir got throw into PR duties when Crowder went down. And that because he's a rookie they don't want to put too much on him and want him to concentrate solely on being a WR.
  18. The best roster top to bottom is Buffalo's roster and there's a bit of a gap between them and the 2nd best. By far the deepest roster in the league, better defense and they have the best player in football. I think our WRs are also better than theirs. Diggs has more yards and tds in 1 less game than Brown. Gabe has a few less yards, but twice the tds as Smith in 2 less games plus playing injured in 2 more. He's done that with 20 less targets than Smith. McKenzie has more yards and x4 the tds than any other Eagles WR and did it in 2 less games. Injuries are going to happen, sometimes a bunch at a time, like what has already happened with the 49ers & Bills earlier in the year. The team needs the confidence that the #2 or #3 even, can come in and play at a high level while the starters get healthy. Buffalo's reserves have already passed this test with flying colors. And the last reason I believe the Bills have a better roster, they've done it against a far harder schedule than the Eagles have. The Eagles have played a bunch of bad teams this year and their 2 "hard" games were both at home. The Bills have played 4 of their 5 toughest opponents on the road this year.
  19. Hill just can't seem to find the endzone though. Almost a 1,000 yards and only 2 TDs(Both in the same game). Easily on pace for his worst season in that regard. That's a ton of yards for only having 2 TDs. It's either he can't find the endzone or Tua keeps under throwing him and allowing defenders to catch up and tackle him. I've seen enough of him this year to know the answer to that question.
  20. Lol, that's too funny. I've been general laborer, did that for 15 or so years. But already had sustained many of those injuries. So I decided I should find an office job and I became a foreman, plant manger & estimator(sometimes all 3 at the same time). And I was pretty good at it. Within 3 years I increased profits north of 700% over the 6 year average before I took the job. But it just never took, I need to move and be active. So I joined UPS, did that for a few years and now? And now I'm a lumberjack!!! Really, not kidding!!😂😂😂
  21. I agree. That's why I put them separate saying if he goes back it will be because he loves LA, meaning the city. But also the guys on the team.
  22. Gotcha Ace! 😂😂
  23. Misunderstanding? Yeah, the NFL lawyers didn't have a Misunderstanding with this, they laid it all out for him earlier in the week. Things they were allowed to do on the show and the longer list of things he couldn't. I find it hard to believe this was a misunderstanding. You don't believe if Pat was untruthful with what he said today the NFL wouldn't come right back at him with the stance they had earlier in the week? Lol, come on now. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it, the NFL would've buried him for it. Cause he laid it all out there today and didn't seem worried about doing so.
  24. Aside from the turnover, this game is as close as it gets. 1st downs 17 vs 15, Playa 43 vs 42, Yards 270 vs 256.
