  1. The offense scored 28.4 ppg in both 2021 & 2022. This year's offense averaged a few more ypg than last year. In 2021 the offense averaged .46 more 1st downs per game. Some fans have this rosier than true memory of our offense last year, I believe, because of the playoffs. We're exactly as good as last year's offense was. We just turned it up in the playoffs and played alot more soundly. I expect we'll see the same. The same with Josh, everyone's like yeah he played great at the end of the year and it carried over into the playoffs. Reality......In week 17 against Atlanta he completed 42.3% of his passes, threw 3 ints, 0 tds and posted his worst passer rating of his career, so low, it matched his uniform number. Imo he plays more sound and he's more focused in big games and against elite teams than he does/is against the lesser ones .
  2. No, but they were also denied 2 drives because of them and another on the NE 4th quarter punt that touched a Bills player. They only had 8 drives(not counting the kneel down) on Sunday and scored tds on 3 of them. It should've been 4 if not for our stellar #2 WR. Couldn't find this year's numbers, but 37.5% is 11 points higher than the league average last year. And that's against a top 10 defense in yards and points allowed. They're that good despite a 26th ranked offense. The Bills scored more than any team not named KC and only trail them by .8 ppg. If that's not efficient enough for fans, I think It's time for them to reset their expectations.
  3. He entered the season in tip top shape and Beane called him a gym rat earlier this year. He said he works out so much, they actually had to ask him to throttle down some on it. I think he started dropping balls when he came back too quick from the ankle. I think it's mental now. If catches a couple early, he's good. If he drops a pass or 2 early in the game, he's toast from then on.
  4. They started that with Diggs last year after he entered the 2020 postseason beat up.
  5. Josh wasn't hitting check downs last year in the regular season either, aside from the 2nd NE game. Once the playoffs started, he switched it up. I expect he'll do the same again this year.
  6. They have scored 32, 35 & 35 in their last 3 games and for the first time in 2 months Josh's elbow seems to be better. He was finally able to throw deep again on Sunday. That makes the offense much more dangerous.
  7. We've put up 32, 35 & 35 in our last 3 games, while beating 2 division rivals. Should've been 42, but our #2 WR loves to drop passes that hit him right in the hands. But on top of that, yesterday was the first time since Josh's elbow injury that his long ball looked effortless. Heck with effortless, it was just nice to see him throw long at all. It's been missing from this offense for almost 2 months and returned just in time for the playoffs. #3
  8. Plus they lost another possession in the 4th when NE's punt touched Jones(?) and NE recovered. Another possession was only 2 plays long, both runs, when Singletary fumbled. And Josh still would've had over 300 yards if Gabe doesn't drop a perfect 49 yard pass in the endzone towards the end of the game.
  9. Didn't need to see videos, he clearly gained a ton of muscle and showed up to training camp jacked. Judging by the results this year, my guess is the 5 or 6 minutes of video you're referring to was all the time he spent catching passes. If not it was a complete waste of time on his part.
  10. 101 of that was in the 1st quarter, they figured it out after that.
  11. Mentally I agree, but physically their bodies pretty much had a bye week. Need proof, Josh throwing deep yesterday, something that hasn't happened in almost 2 months. Not only that he was making it look effortless again on Smoke's td and the ball on Digg's td went 57 yards on the air while throwing flat footed due to the pass rush coming up the middle. Both were just a flick of the wrist. The deep pass to Davis with 3:47 to go was perfect and again he was on the run, went about 52 yards in the air and just a flick of the wrist again. Unfortunately our #2 WR continues to drop passes that hit him right in the hands. Imo this offseason he needs to not worry so much about how big his muscles are and instead devote all his time to route running and a jugs machine.
  12. No, but I was expecting that with Hamlin going down and very little practice time this week. They're struggling to get pressure on the QB most plays. If your secondary is weak, which at the moment it is, you have to be able to get consistent pressure so they don't have to cover so long. I hate to say it, but there were plays that Poyer looked slow, he's just so beat up.
  13. I agree, and for the 1st time since his elbow injury, he's got his deep ball back. That's what makes this offense so dangerous and it's FINALLY back!!
  14. We saw some good and some bad today. First half defense was not good, but they played alot better in the 2nd half. While I agree Mac has mediocre numbers, but coming into today he had only 1 int in his last 8 games dating back to Nov. 6th. And had only 5 in his 13 games this year. The defense had 3 in the 2nd half alone. Strange you would mention the yards allowed, but not the 3 ints in 22 minutes of game time.🤷‍♂️
  15. Been saying this for weeks. RB split should be 60/40 Cook. I love Singletary, he's as solid of a RB as they come, but by that definition means he's a #2 RB. After seeing the jet burners today, they have got to find a way to get Hines on the field on offense. WR or use 2 RB sets, I don't care. Way too much speed to be standing on the sideline. #3
  16. I think for the first time since Monday Night's game our boys are going to be able to sleep peacefully tonight. With Damar making such a turnaround and getting that 1st game out of the way since Damar's horrible injury so much is off their shoulders now. Sleep well gents. #3
  17. Gabe definitely needs to start catching the ball more consistently. On a positive note...It was nice seeing Allen letting a few deep balls rip. We've seen little to none of that since the elbow injury. One good thing that came from what happened Monday night is he's only had 1 drive in a 2 week span. Gotta think it helped his elbow injury.
  18. I'm not going to sift through 17 years of football. After what happened to Damar. I told myself I wasn't going to get caught up in discussions like this. I was very tired yesterday and shouldn't have got caught up in it. It's just not worth it, we're both clearly big Bills fans and it's a brotherhood. We should be treating each other with more respect and with what Damar's gone through, that should be easy enough to do. I end my side with this. I think for both of us, we hope Josh has long and very successful career that brings the title home to us, where it belongs. And that's really all it's about. GO BILLS!!
  19. If given a clean bill of health from the doctors and the green light to continue his career. how would Buffalo be liable if the same thing were to happen again. If he can and the desire is there to play again, it'll either be with Buffalo or a different team, like the Steelers.
  20. Good to see our annual trip to KC is on there. 🥱 Playing against Daboll should be interesting. Both sides know each other quite well. A matchup of who installs the best wrinkles to their game.
  21. A big fat no. If that needy WR room didn't need him, who would? 9 catches in 7 games this year.
  22. They stated that it was unknown at the time of the press conference if he could play again. Diagnosis and testing for any preexisting conditions and/or permanent damage to organs still needed to be done. But if the diagnosis is indeed Coriolise Cordis, with no preexisting condition or permanent damage from what happened Monday night he would be able to play again, if he chose to do so. The chances of him suffering from Coriolise Cordis a 2nd time would be the same as anyone else.....At least a couple million to 1.
  23. This is literally all you have. Nothing. Here's a Big Ben play that's almost exactly like Josh's separated shoulder play. I actually offer proof, you not so much. Go ahead and chop this post up, like the others, to get it to say what you want. Cause that's all you got.😂😂😂😂
  24. Don't waste your time, I've already brought up alot of this. He offers nothing up but opinions, no facts and it's a complete waste of time. His 2 comparisons don't even match reality. He was even trying to tell me Big Ben didn't take a ton of hits while try to buy extra time to hit big plays. It happened over and over again in his career. Defenders draped on him, taking big hits from other defenders while trying to buy time was his trademark for most of his career. Dude was literally famous for it.
  25. 1 concussion in a 5 year span is NOT going to have any effect on his career. None, you're reaching. The other one I thought was in the pocket, it wasn't. But it also wasn't a run either and he took a check down on the play, it was a 8 yard pass. All keys to QB survival as laid out by you. On top of that it was a textbook Big Ben play. None of this supports your argument. Fail, fail, fail.
