  1. Yes. He was traded earlier this year.
  2. They're now losing to a 9-8 team that has only 3 wins in its last 8 games. Those wins...Rams twice(last week it took ot) & week 17 against a Jets team that had already packed it in for the year.
  3. Yes I forgot about that game but...Chargers didn't have either starting WRs(Williams & Allen), & Bosa & still barely won that game.
  4. A bunch of bad teams and 1 game against Seattle. They've had a very easy schedule this year only playing 1 team that finished better than 9-8 and they got smoked in that game(KC). It's going to be interesting to see if they're really this good or was it because of the easy schedule. Reminds me of Buffalo's #1 ranked defense last year.
  5. For a team dying for dynamic offensive players outside of Josh & Diggs, I would love for them to have a number of sets with Cook & Hines in the backfield together. Eliminate the slot WR or take Gabe off the field to do it. Neither position is doing much for the offense at the moment anyways. That would add a whole lotta speed to the offense.
  6. Yes it is. Buffalonian : A Buffalonian is a human being who is from or resides in Buffalo, NY or the suburbs around it.
  7. If they do, I think someone will make a movie about this team & this season.
  8. Went to look up his record and for some reason I was surprised to see Coach McDermott has more wins than him. In only 6 seasons McDermott is already tied for 79th in career wins and is 21st all-time in win percentage(Min. 50 games).
  9. I agree. Adding to the fact of just how hot that game was, it was only the 3rd game of the year and starters not playing but only a series or 2 in preseason nowadays, players are still getting into game shape in September. At 1 point in the 4th quarter the offense had no Diggs, McKenzie & Knox, all were missing time due to heat related issues. Add to that to a very gimpy Gabe and being on their 3rd string Center and backup RG & RT. I have no idea how they managed 497 yards of offense that game.
  10. I agree. I would also add Knox losing his younger brother right before the start of the season.
  11. Been a fan since 1978 and I've never been more proud of the team and the community. Man I hope so. We're way over due for that February parade.🤞
  12. A really well done piece on the people of Buffalo, the team and tragic events of this year and how it brought out the best in both. So proud to see how the community & team rallied around each other and in many ways are dependent on one another when a tragedy strikes.
  13. Under McDermott Buffalo is 37-12 since the start of 2020. That's the 3rd best win percentage of any 3 year span in team history.
  14. They won 47-17 last year in the WC round, in a game in which they scored a td on every offensive possession. They did everything you listed, except sit the starters late. I'm positive other teams took notice, in the end they scored tds on 12 of 16 postseason possessions yet still lost in the divisional round. Almost every team needs a bit of luck during their postseason Super Bowl run, last year we didn't have any. This year I'll take just a regular old win and some luck further on down the road.
  15. Nothing resulted in more ints because there simply weren't more ints this year. Allen's td to int ration is nearly identical to last year's. 36/15 last year, 35/14 this year. The offensive output is nearly identical as both years we averaged 28.4 ppg, we averaged 6 more ypg this year & .46 more 1st downs last year. Josh's numbers across the board are nearly identical ypg, as mentioned td/int ratio, QB Rating is 4 points higher this year. Even with his rushing stats where last year he rushed for 122/763/6 vs this year 124/762/7. That's as close as it gets. It's the same output, just done differently. Last year we were great in the redzone, this year we've struggled some in the redzone, but have a bunch of bigger play tds that were outside the redzone. Both ways clearly work.
  16. Make that 5, he has a rushing td also. That's as many as Beasley had in his last 33 games with the Bills prior to this year.
  17. This is true with all defenses, you play better against the bad offenses than against the good ones. The 49ers were torched for 423 yards by Mahomes. Tua threw for 295 yards against them.
  18. I was going to say something similar. Most say Buffalo is a pass happy offense that struggles to run the ball consistently. Josh had 567 pass attempts this year, while Brady had a league high 733 attempts. Only twice has a QB top 700 attempts in a season, both have been Brady in back to back years. Alot of people have been singing Tom's praises since arriving in Tampa and to a degree, deservingly so. But make no mistake about it he did as much, if not, more on quite a few less attempts in NE. During his time in NE(not counting his rookie year) he averaged 525.5 attempts per year. In Tampa he has averaged 687.33 per season, a 30.7% increase from his NE days. Interestingly Herbert has had similar attempts as Brady in the last 2 seasons. Averaging 40 less attempts per season.
  19. Hey it's the new guy! I can already tell you're going to be a blast. As to your post, if you can't tell the lack of pass rush since he's been out, I question what you have been watching. And coverage sacks lol, that's a good one, with the constant shuffling of guys hurt in the secondary this year and rookies playing, they had benefitted the most from Von being here.
  20. He wasn't right anyways, we didn't beat the Pats last year in the final game. We struggled to beat a 4-13 Jets team in the final game. Guess no one should him that the week before that we were trailing Atlanta 15-14 late in the 3rd before scoring 2 tds to win 29-15. Atlanta was 7-10 last year. We weren't playing anywhere as good as we are now, but still played crazy good in the playoffs.
  21. What if I told you that a QB failed to hit a 56% completion percentage in 4 of his last 6 games last year, including a game where he had a 42.3% completion percentage, 0 tds 3 ints and an career low QB Rating of 17 in week 17. That same QB in 2 playoff games would go a combined 48/62 637 yds., 9 tds, 0 ints and a QB Rating of 148.99(Best ever) & QBR north of 95.0. All I'm saying is, it's not uncommon for experienced playoff teams to up their play once the postseason starts. I'm sorry but to me, Buffalo has almost seemed disinterested in games that weren't in primetime or for the divisional title down the stretch. Again, much like last year.
  22. I know, this year we only averaged 28.4 ppg, not like last year when we averaged 28.4. Last year we did it in the redzone, this year when Josh has been healthy, we skip the redzone all together.
  23. Watch the offensive highlights of last year's playoffs. Nothing will get you more hyped than that. A total of 12 tds on only 16 drives and averaged 41.5 ppg. Legend has it that, statistically, it was the best QB play ever in a playoff year, and he became the 1st QB ever to throw at least 4 tds(5/4) in consecutive playoff games. Even in defeat he threw 4 tds, including 2 in the final 1:54. Crazy we lost in only the divisional round. There's no way we should've lost, not with Josh and the offense playing like that. I don't know how you would figure it out, but I would love to know the probability of a team losing in the 2nd round of the playoffs with the offense scoring tds on 12 of 16 drives.
  24. Some people only see black and white, when most is gray. We could do this all night if you wish. Good to see you're your chipper self, per usual, glad you chimed in. fact remains the offensive output is nearly identical to last year's production. Even Joshes stats, both passing and running, mirror each other from 2021 & 2022. Wasn't a problem last in last year's playoffs, have no reason to expect differently this year. And I'll still take that 37.5% td rate against a top 10 overall defense anyday. That tells the real story of how efficient the offense was on Sunday, which is what the initial conversation was about.
