  1. Again I think it's coaching. He was taking checkdowns quickly in the playoffs last year. I was hoping/expecting to see the same, maybe it's because of Miami was leaving their corners one on one alot yesterday.
  2. On almost any other team both Elam & Cook would be starting over the guys we have. This team is too cautious with rookies more often than not. Let them play and learn. Both would be even better if they were starters by week 8 this year. Damn didn't see your post, I said something very similar right after you. LET THE ROOKIES PLAY!
  3. 34, not 33. Again most of that's Josh's God given abilities, none of it is because of playcalling or more importantly in game adjustments. If we had an average QB this offense would suck b@lls. The whole team is on 1 person's shoulders. Miami has an ultra aggressive defense and we did't call any draws, screens, misdirection or and trick plays. These plays have been used to slow down defenses like Miami for decades. Never thought I say it, but God I miss Daboll.
  4. That seems about right from the games I saw.
  5. Your OC has to see this, if it's so apparent, and find a way to counter it. Dorsey doesn't seem good at that part. It's call a pass play, almost every play, and hope Josh can do something special.
  6. I've seen him a few times this year and I swear only 1 in every 20 balls went 15 yards past the LOS. A ton of screens, swing passes and checkdowns.
  7. I'll take 75% Josh over Herbert. Never seen a player get so much credit while not accomplishing a single thing. Oh wait here's another 5 yard Herbert heave!!
  8. It's his game. He's always worked in chaos. Just got to get him to work in controlled chaos. I don't have a problem with most of his deep balls yesterday. The receivers all had a step or two on the defenders, just gotta hit a better percentage is all.
  9. Someone has to come in and teach Dorsey how to use a RB and how to be more creative. If Josh wasn't our QB this offense would be bad and boring.
  10. Maybe not 10 yards, but we had several games in a row where Josh didn't throw deep once. Right after the elbow injury. I love healthy Josh. Keep chucking them Josh!!
  11. I agree. He's been off for most of the year on anything past 10 yards. As they say..The goose is cooked.
  12. Only 7 games left to the season. God it goes by too fast!!😒
  13. I think Dallas can give them a run. 49ers had a weak schedule and Purdy hasn't played against a good defense yet. He'll be seeing Parsons in his sleep this week.
  14. 5 tds, no extra points converted.
  15. Going to find out just how good Purdy is next week.
  16. Yes it was. That's yet another miss by the refs.
  17. I agree. Daboll always would call some trick plays or misdirection plays when defenses got ultra aggressive. I don't believe Dorsey has called a single trick play. I always loved it when Daboll would have a WR option pass. He knew just when to call it, it always seemed to work.
  18. I have been pounding the table for a month about this. Cook ended up tied for 14th in 20+ yard runs by a RB this year with only 89 carries. The next lowest of the RBs tied or ahead of him was 176 carries, twice what Cook had. For an offense looking for dynamic players outside of Josh & Diggs, I would love to see some plays with Cook & Hines in the backfield together. You instantly add a ton of speed to the offense. Give defenses something else to deal with.
  19. It disappeared because he was injured. He only played 1 series vs Cincy before Damar's injury and game stoppage. Sometimes good things come from tragic events and this was one of them. Josh got his cannon back. Now he needs to start running because this offense is almost unstoppable once he commits to taking off. 16-2 when Josh rushes 10 times or more. Run Josh run! GO BILLS!!
  20. I agree, but McDermott has been like that with rookie RBs and WRs since he's came here. He'll play rookies right away everywhere else(including QB), but not those 2 positions.
  21. You could argue that if just the fumble returned for a TD doesn't happen, it's pretty comfortable. We would've been up 10-17 points the whole 4th quarter.
  22. He stated just this year that if they are up a couple scores that he will take more chances. I have no problem with him giving Brown a chance to win a 1 on 1, trusting he will at least knock it down if he can't catch it. He's done it with Diggs a bunch of times and is credited for giving his guy a chance, it can't be both ways. Brown was running a go route, then for no reason at all, took 2-3 steps towards the sideline just as Josh was throwing or right after he released it. It all went to **** after that.
  23. It's been this way since the start of the 2020 season. Bills finished with the least in 2020 & 2022 and finished with the 3rd least last year.
  24. And Brown needs, at the very least, to knock down Josh's first int. Anyone know why he broke towards the sideline when Josh threw it? Then he ran past the defender when he caught it and failed to tackle him. That allowed a 50 yard return.
  25. But the pundits on TV are screaming check it down. Lets go ahead and do that. Then they all will be b!tchin that we have Herbert 2.0.
