  1. I didn't know he could be picked up on wafers. Let alone that it had happened previously. Learn something new everyday on TDB.
  2. But... who will keep TBD informed with all the updates during this time. I predict mass hysteria on TBD from Thursday night through Saturday evening.
  3. Agreed Kirby. On a side note who doesn't love them some Plinko.
  4. Well done Bandit. All the trades seem logical and could happen for sure. I loved the Raiders pick seems like something they would do. Not a fan of Davis pick, but understand the reasoning behind it. If the Bills didn't pick Davis who do you think they would pick? All in all good job.
  5. Kirby, no offense, but it's not nearly as dangerous a cigarette smoking or dipping, and not as dangerous or disruptive to oneself and people around them as alcohol. Believe me, both my parents were raging alcoholics to the point that I pretty much raised myself from the time I was 7-8 years old. Just the embarrassment alone when I was young was unfathomable. I've never seen the marijuana effecting peoples lives like what I saw as a kid with alcohol, not even remotely close. EDIT: This does not mean if you drink alcohol even some what reasonably your effecting those around like this. What I'm talking about is a whole nother level of consumption. Think falling down drunk almost every night.
  6. Marijuana dependence occurs in about 9-10% of people who use it. What age that it is tried seems to have a lot to do with this i.e. the younger you are the better chance of becoming dependent. Compared to alcohol, cocaine, heroin, morphine, and tobacco it's less than half as likely to become dependent on marijuana. I linked a very well written article by Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN on why he changed his stance against it. http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/08/health/gupta-changed-mind-marijuana/
  7. Has nothing to do with confidence, but with facts. EJ has done better than that with the roster and coaches not being nearly as good as they are now. Add a little more time to mature as a QB, and time sitting behind Orton, he'll be just fine. As for the bet you never put anything up to wager and I would have to approve of said wager. Do I get your soul if EJ's record this year is better than 4-12. If so I'm... ALL IN. He will not honestly answer you. It's just not his way of doing things. He said several different things would happen. The one thing he was right about he responded to, things that were wrong he has not responded to directly. Throw a bunch of crap at the wall and see what sticks. What doesn't stick just ignore or don't answer directly. In the end that's all he had to do was say my bad or I guess I got some bad info, or something like that.
  8. Jonte Jonte Jonte where has the time gone?
  9. Didn't expect a comment like this from you. I'd bet everything I had that the Bills would finish far better than 4-12 with EJ as QB, including my soul. That's how confident I am that the record you just predicted is garbage. I, like C Biscuit, just lost some respect for your opinion.
  10. I was going to respond myself. Hmmm.... Vicodin, Percocet, or even worse and used a ton by players Toradol, which is horrible for the body, or pot seems there is one which is far less harming than the others. Also whether someone obeys a pot law is no more telling than if someone is speeding. Having preconceived notions of a person strictly because they do or don't follow the law on pot is far more telling of a person.
  11. It's not just that. The NFL itself more than doubled it's tolerance on pot just last year. In 10-15 years this won't be anymore an issue than alcohol. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/49ers/2014/09/12/nflpa-approves-new-drug-policy-with-hgh-testing-marijuana-tolerance-two-game-suspension-for-dui/comment-page-1/
  12. Yes I have it happens quite a bit, maybe tackle is a bad way of putting it. The defender knowing it's only going to be a 15 yard penalty mugs the WR downfield when the pass comes. Why wouldn't you tackle, trip, grab a WR 40-50 yards downfield, if he has beat you, with the penalty only being 15 yards? The Pats* and others would do this all the time not caring about the quality of the game. If I'm a coach and my job is on the line I'd rather give up 15 yard penalty on purpose than 40+ yard passes.
  13. So, if your a defender and get beat by the WR 50 yards down field all you have to do is tackle him before the ball gets there and get penalized 15 yards? I believe that would be a huge advantage to the defense. Can't see this working in the NFL, defense would take advantage of the rule far too much. I like the NFL lottery system idea. No sure reward just for tanking. Imo
  14. Hey.... that's my line.
  15. I couldn't have said it better if I tried. Well done Mr Weo .
  16. No, he doesn't suck today as it is a Tuesday. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays he's good-great. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays he sucks. Get with the program, this will be the last time it's explained.
  17. Harbaugh good crazy, Tomsula not so much.
  18. Yolo, you should change the may be in the title to is.
  19. One of the many reasons I love Freddy. He'll tell how it is and back it up.
  20. Man, this guy has got to be fun as hell to hang out with. What is taking Doug so long to complete a trade for him? We gotta get him in a Bill's uniform asap. Imo
  21. You gone and done it now, Kirby. You had to go and open that can of worms didn't you. Now this will become like 90% of all the other threads. I'm thinking the same, this year.
