They made a move and did something. It's better than what they did not do in the past. Who really cares where preseason rankings put us. We are about to figure it out by playing the games, which is all that really matters. No matter where the pick is, people will complain if its outside the top 12 (playoff teams). I'm just glad they are trying hard to get us where we want to be.

I've been in San Jose for 9.5 years now and it's Niners/Raiders country. The Niners new stadium and my work are within 7 miles from my house. Doesn't matter, still a Bills fan. I hear about the Niners a lot obviously but I only follow them in January when the bills are on the couch

I hope they look past us and we get up early. They will have some big pass plays and passing TD plays but if we can exploit their weak safeties and tire them out with the run, we could win a close one. 24 - 21 good guys.

This was my number 1 concern about Sammy. It's in my post history. Basically, I think he's a special talent he can't invite contact in the pros like he did in college, he will keep getting hurt. He's not big enough for that. I want him to succeed but the coaches really might have banged a nail into there coffin by playing him today.

This will be a big play offense if the offensive line lives up to there potential. It's on them and EJ. If you rewatch that game, you will see just how much their penaltys and poor pass protection hurt us and negated good plays. Kelso is right on about everything he said. The offense is vanilla by design, they are keeping a lot of stuff close to the vest. I think we will be in for a good suprise week 1. I also can guarantee you that the chicago recieving crew will make big plays on us. EJ will throw it down the field if they split Watkins, and Goodwin to opposite sides and run go routes. I think they will do that a lot this year and dump it off to the other guys underneath. For that to work the Line has to be better and EJ has to "just throw it".

My top 3: 1.QB depth- (Palmer included) EJ stay healthy please. 2. Offensive Guard- not worried about tackles or center at all. Just the guards and both of them. This includes Chris Williams, I'm concerned with him because of his track record and his lack of action in training camp. 3. DE depth- major concern because we only have 1 real DE.

QB play is about timing and rhythm. EJ had people in the backfield after him on most pass attempts. It's almost all on the offensive line. Woods slipped once, chandler slipped and it was picked off... The only poor throws I can remember were that first swing pass and the throw to woods on a seam route( he was hit while throwing). Yes, the problem is the offensive line. Oh by the way GERALD MCCOY was on the other side of the line. He is the number one or two DT in the league going against a rookie and Wood or Wood and Pears mostly. That is a tough task. Chris Williams is not some messiah either folks. Tom Brady hardly ever gets touched, he's had some success. EJ had people on him on pretty much every play and that mess is what you get

Everyone complaining about EJ is just ridiculous, he's 10 games into a professional career. I feel like most have either wanted Tuel or Lewis to start at one time or another and/or we pick up Rex Grossman, trade CJ for Hoyer or trade for Mallet. Crazy... Let him at least play a few games after his first full offseason as a number 1 in this league

I think they admitted it immediately. Helps our wild card hopes because cincinnati wins the north anyway. 4 or 5 games without your top two running backs could end their playoff hopes and really help us out. I think it would have been between us, steelers and jets. this is great the suspension is this year.

I hope their respective suspensions are assessed this season. I believe that they admitted possesion and it might move the legal action ahead which could lead Goodell to give the suspension this season. I have a feeling that Pittsburgh along with the Jets could be our wild card competion. I know for sure that a team without its top 2 running backs for a handful of games is going to have a tough time winning. I'd like to hear when you guys think these suspensions will hit. Will it be like Bradham and be a year later or will it be this season?

After rewatching the condensed version, I noticed on the long TD that the bills were in a nickel and the LB on the near side took a wrong read step by initial heading inside with the tight end who was in motion toward the other side of the formation. Pretty sure it was rivers. It screwed up the safety and the corner that ran into each other. I don't know what rivers was thinking, the other LB would be the one to shift on that play. Rivers scares me in pass protection.

I have honestly considered it a certainty for a while now that our tackles will be Glenn and Henderson. By the fact that Kujo hasn't seen any snaps at Guard (that i know of anyway) tells me he is destined for the practice squad (Ed Wang anyone? "Best 5 on the line" comment from marrone was very telling as well as "Henderson can start in this league" comment.
