  1. After thinking about it, I would really say no.1 and no.2 were on the same team. Frank the tank Reich! word
  2. he means there nothing outside the norm was done to hurt MW's reputation. Their was nothing announced outside of what the league requirements say. I concur and I think that their is a personality conflict with Urbik mostly because he is one of the five best linemen we have Rudy! Rudy!
  3. St. Doug is ask for a miracle playing PEERS. Put Urbik IN. BrINg back Chaz Riengold. That is all...in
  4. Yikes! And CJ Spiller gets the bad rap
  5. Watkins SMH... Harvin isn't worth anything, He will be hurt soon (probably against us). Same people who wanted Ebron in the draft say they'd want Harvin. We should have broke the bank for Decker too huh? Watch the players play and don't listen to everything said on a NFLN or ESPN. Potential means nothing if not realized and he has had opportunity. You would have to give me a 2nd and Harvin just to put him on my team.
  6. I'll try to explain to my wife and 2 year old daughter about how bad our guards are (and "which ones they are"). Same with mckelvin. Monday, I'll be in a crappy mood and short with my oblivious employees out here in ca. Tuesday I'll start considering the different scenarios that need to occur while praying that Tom Brady gets hurt somehow. Wednesday listen to Marrone say that our guards are ok and skirt questions about players like Urbik, Mike Williams or soon to be Orton. Thursday realize that Marrone is a control freak and probably benches players that give him a hard time. Also, read posts on TSW about how we should trade spiller/Mike Williams/EJ for a first rounder or some guard or both and laugh. Friday read posts about signing incognito and ponder it seriously. Saturday fresh batch of cool aid and repeat.
  7. i agree, it's funny that my wife and I call Garrison the "golden unicorn", he most certainly drops dimes on our holder and punter.
  8. Andre Johnson got hurt in the Texans game
  9. Best option out there, pull dat trigger
  10. Sheesh... a couple good catches does not a stud make
  11. hoping for the best.. for US! this is the time of the year for us when WE usually drop 4 or 5 winable games a lot of times in a row. I hope New England does that and with our "easy" schedule ahead of us we post more wins than New England straight up so that we don't need week 17 in NE to make the playoffs.
  12. Mike tweeted that he is "happy in buffalo" today and his agent was just doing what agents do.http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2014/10/mike_williams_tweet_trade_happy_bills_chill.html
  13. I don't want to see him go. He is passionate about winning and he is a good receiver. It's a shame that Hackett seems to be putting in a "package" of plays in his"game plan" every week that he does not deviate from. That's why we see poorly executed plays repeated multiple times a game. It's no secret by Marrone's comments in previous weeks "we didn't have that play in". Just hints to me that Hackett either is stubborn with his "gameplan" or our play calling language doesn't allow for formation changes. I wasn't a person who thought Hackett was the problem until this week. Our team can't run the ball and if we can't run how can we expect to get the ball to Mike Williams? He is a situational receiver that we hardly ever even had in the game in the ideal situation to use him. "I'd like to throw to Mike but muh game plan says run strait at fat Vince on first and second down for no gain... so I guess I have to do it then" frustraites me that every pass play is an out pattern for woods, a deep cross for sammy and a seem/post for chandler with a blocking assignment for our running backs because we have Eric Pears playing instead of a reliable Urbik. Hackett is wasting the most talented roster we have had in a while. Mike is our "big receiver" that we need, he wanted to be here, he is passionate and we peed on his fire.
  14. mckelvin gave up on the long post touchdown the "triple covered" receiver touchdown. Tines or times or whatever the hell his name is. Mckelvin was seen speed walking in front of him basically not even attempting to make a play it wasn't mckelvins guy but he was in position to make a play possibly with some effort
  15. Let's see Duke williams PI And half arsed jogging while he's watching Lafell make the catch on the last touchdown. Oh by the way he's slower than gronkowski. He shouldn't see the field for a while if they don't release him tomorrow. McLovin is terrible, getting killed by the patriots second rate receivers all game, he's not a "starter in this league" Doug. He flat out sucks. He was power walking 2 yards from a touchdown reception. A. Williams not playing?! WTF, when did he get hurt? Graham thrown into safety(which he is NOT good at right now) is not his fault. BASICALLY 3/4 of our secondary were terrible. Gilmore had his best game after allowing a couple early receptions. I just wish we had put a safety out there stuck McLovin's a$$ on the bench and went with Roby over him in the nickel. I don't want want to hear "Tom Brady though..." because he didn't even play great. He completed easy passes on a secondary that besides Roby and Gilmore didn't even try today. I've never been this angry at our secondary in 30 years as a fan. It's because they didn't even ACT like they were trying
  16. Whaley is already talking to his agent and its obvious what will happen IMO. We will offer the number based on his production ( on a 5 tier rating system something like 3.5 or basically above average but not workhorse allpro potential money). They will think he's worth more and we probably would let him walk. I also think its not his fault, that would be our Oline and more specifically the guard positions. With two better guards on the team this thread doesn't exist. There is a reason we brought in Bryce Brown folks and that reason was to push Spiller to perform to expectations or replace him if he doesn't meet expectations and allow him to walk. While I do think this is what will happen, I really want to keep Spiller on the team. He could be a great third down back and I wish they would use CJ and Fred the complete opposite of how they do now. For the record I don't think Fred has more than 1 or 2 years left and I also think that Fred is better with CJ in tandem.
  17. welp, Pepper is our Dline coach and they are tied with the NFL lead in sacks and number 1 against the run. soo, yeah
  18. Isn't that Louisianna on your avatar...thanks for the education comment, you are doing so well! Anyway, if your stats are correct (which i doubt), we have seen more 2nd downs than 3rd downs this season so big deal. Nobody is debating who is the better blocker. I am saying that Fred is better on first and second down generally. Also, pretty sure CJ can chip (different than hold a block). Sprolles, McCluster, CJ Spiller I don't think any of them are good blockers but two of the three have been very successful on third down throughout there career. If you actually watch NFL football you will notice that teams tend to have success with very quick shifty backs on third down. what about the blitz? There are two ways to skin a cat, and if they blitz with Spiller in the backfield then they run the risk of an uncovered CJ Spiller catching a pass in space! so you go run along and have yourself a great day there fella. I'm truly sorry, I didn't realize that the only thing an incredibly dangerous ball handler can do on third down is pass protect, my bad
  19. Thats a great point except our leading receiver is... Fred Jackson. When does Fred make those receptions? On third down is when fred makes most of those receptions. So I guess that means he's not really blocking then huh? He also seems to have some SPACE when he makes said receptions. CJ Spiller is FASTER than Fred.. So if I remember my ninth grade logic homework correctly Spiller might be able to make a flair pass on third and 5+ a gain of more than 2 yards. Obviously Fred is a better blocker but we aren't asking him to do much pass blocking in those situations. I do however think Fred should get the bulk of the work on first and second down
  20. exactly what will happen^
  21. CJ is a third down back. Don't take him OUT on third down. Put him IN on third down. Please read this Hackett, sheesh. That is all
  22. If you mean put him at OLB like he was playing for the colts... he was so disappointing that they traded him.. To us. For Sheppard (no value to us, no value to them). Hughes was garbage "in space". Hughes was space junk. Haha. Be a hero Schwartz, keep him where he is. yeah, maybe a "superwide 9" we will put him out against the sideline. Like a "wideass 9" or an "extra wide 99"... Or something! He could have little slap fights with Gilmore for position. Awesome
  23. One thing I know for sure is that even if we beat the Paties on sunday, we will be below them in 9/10 power rankings. I'll start listening to the experts on NFL.com when they have a better record in the "Weekly Pick'em" than I do! Screw them. Uncle Rico will come through for us.
