I like the guy a lot. I think Fred and the offense liked him too. Enthusiastic likable guy that had his fire peed on by Douglas Morrone. Marrone was way too involved and screwed up the Oline and the QB situation. I don't know how good or bad he is because I don't even think we saw "his" offense. We saw Marrone starting the guys who didn't piss him off or just nodded their head yes. Not much to do with Hackett. Whaley would bring 'em in, Marrone would complain and not play them and Hackett dealt with what ever was remaining.

I'll be honest about this, I live 5 miles from Levi's stadium and see a lot of the 49er's. They have Jack squat for wide receivers. Crabtree is very overrated in the media. Only Boldin would crack our top 3 (and Sammy is an upgraded version of Boldin). They still made it to the NFC title game 3 years in a row with 1 older running back, an ok tight end, Boldin and an average WR (Crabtree). Kaepernick is definitely worth a number 2 pick. It would be THE BEST POSSIBLE OPTION BY FAR for us with respect to aquiring a QB in my opinion.

I think kiko fits a lot better in a Rex Ryan defense than a Jim Schwarts defense. Early prediction: Kiko will be an all-pro in Rex's scheme.
