  1. Anyone recognize this Canadians player from 1968?
  2. Winner, winner chicken dinner.
  3. A great loss to be sure. RIP
  4. He was the second overall draft pick in his draft class. He made four pro bowls as a defense of lineman and had two different seasons where he recorded 14 1/2 sacks.
  5. Now this is a fun thread. Well done all around gentlemen.
  6. Recently watched a movie on Netflix from 2013 that I had completely missed when it came out called About Time. It is from the creator of Love Actually and has a bit of the same vibe. It’s stars Rachel McAdams and a very young Margot Robbie. The premise is: a young man turns 21 and his father, played by the great Bill Nighy, lets him in on a little secret, namely that the men in his family can all time travel back to different parts along their own lifeline. Most of the movie follows the typical romcom formula, but there is a pretty neat twist at the end that might cause you to get the sensation that you’re chopping some onions. I highly recommend it, it was a terrific movie.
  7. Can you name this former Buffalo Bills player? Hints to follow if there are no correct guesses.
  8. Mr. Brady, paging Mr. Brady.
  9. I'm pretty sure that Ryan Talbot gets his info from this board, so I wouldn't worry too much.
  10. Imagine as a comic strip - Enjoy! https://theunboundedspirit.com/imagine-john-lennon/?fbclid=IwAR2kdT8V_gDtqThXP2mnPvm1ELasl2BXceBkCf-iwABu9V7aixyiluf-FzA
  11. Buddy, at one point, scored 18 straight points including three 3-pointers. Huge road win, on to Notre Dame
  12. Thank God Whitney finally made it. Nothing screams Rock and Roll more than her brand of music. When does Celine Dion become eligible?
  13. At this point I expect the entire 53-man roster to have a surgery of one kind or another in the next couple of days. ?
  14. I'm taking a wild guess here because my youngest son was recently watching the video for Rapture by Blondie and I see similarities in the face, so I'll say it's Debbie Harry. I am probably way off though. Edit - I didn’t refresh my screen and now see that it was already revealed. I’m still taking credit for being right though. LOL
  15. I think we know where she stands on the South Carolinian Tigers vs Gamecocks rivalry.
  16. I opted for brevity because I was tying to beat some of our prolific posters to the punch and NE was much quicker to type than Massachusetts. Plus, Connecticut is to New England what Buffalo is to upstate NY. ?
  17. Did you know that Max Afinogenov is 40? Did you know that he’s still playing in the KHL? And did you further know that he can still skate like the wind and score goals like this one? Me neither.
  18. A sign of things to come? https://patriotswire.usatoday.com/2020/01/14/report-tom-brady-moved-out-of-brookline-home-cleaned-out-suite-in-gillette-stadium/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=NFLdraftmaverickJeff&fbclid=IwAR0_U0bN95Zt7yXGZxIqMkAz2hO9WkHWOZIcIIpODOs8c3sgVBVLqY2e0rw
  19. I graded on a curve considering how long it’s been since they won a game by 4 goals.
  20. Winner. Taken at his childhood home of Port Dalhousie, ON, just outside of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
  21. No memory of Wide Right, No Goal and Homerun Throwback? Sign me up.
  22. Thanks. Don’t know how I missed it. Mods please delete.
  23. He had an amazing life. He starred in a short-lived network sitcom, was a highly regarded jazz trumpeter and spent 17 years as Merv Griffin’s musical director. But, you probably know him best as the unmistakable voice on many Schoolhouse Rock classics like this one: RIP, Mr. Sheldon. You just may be the greatest Civics teacher in American history. https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/01/entertainment/jack-sheldon-dead/index.html
  24. Just when I thought I had moved on from last week’s heartbreaking loss, the stars aligned on the other side of the draw as the Titans upset the Ravens and the wound is flowing again. Sigh...
