  1. Supposed Sabres ask from Vegas for Jack Eichel.
  2. Never debate a Tesla. Their points are electric and they never run out of gas.
  3. I’m glad to have the opportunity to put you in the know. It’s a Lockport institution. Let me know what you think once you check it out.
  4. I love Gabriel’s Gate and Bar Bill, but I’ve got to tell you that the wings at Wagner’s in Lockport can go nub-to-nub with both of them. And their Beef-on-Weck is delicious as well. If you find yourself in the Northtowns, do yourself a favor and check them out. I recommend Johnnie’s Special - a Beef-on-Weck and 5 wings. You can thank me later. https://www.wagnersrestaurant.com/menu
  5. Truth in advertising.
  6. Great trade by GMKA. Let’s see if he can keep the momentum going with Jack and Sam.
  7. Willie Ames
  8. Very happy for him, he had a long writing career. When he first started at the newspaper he was paid with fire. (Ba-dum-ba 🥁)
  9. I think it’s certain to be one of those two or, possibly, Girgensons. Don’t forget that Botterill was the one that signed him to a contract twice his worth on the open market.
  10. I read one where they took Cody Eakin. Who gets paid to write such nonsense?
  11. Went to the theater for the first time since Covid last night to watch this movie. Saw it in the Regal cinemas X Screen format. It’s 270° where they project part of the movie on the side walls. Took a moment to get used to, but then was pretty inventive and cool. As for the movie, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I really liked the actor from Stranger Things who played the Red Guardian. Relating to the end-of-credits scene, I wonder if they will find a way to resurrect the Black Widow character using the multi-verse?
  12. Now that you point it out I think you are right on.
  13. It’s almost here, the first step on the road to Lombardi.
  14. I loved Booker T and the MGs and all of the Stax Records stuff. He must have been teeming to the brim with amazing stories to tell. I’m glad that you had his friendship, Augie.
  15. Haha, no I wrote it as an adult thinking back on those years, but I appreciate the compliment all the same. The Weston Avenue Wild Bunch accept your challenge. 😀
  16. Thanks Chandler that was a great watch. Here is a link to a column that I wrote some years ago about the first Stanley Cup run by the Sabres and my experience in the neighborhood I grew up in. Hopefully you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. https://niagarafallsreporter.com/croisdale15.html
  17. The good news is that the new owner already runs successful, similar theme parks. I think that’s a real win for Western New York.
  18. Evidently, Trubisky and Fromm were an item and no one knew. 😂 (Seriously though, congratulations to them and their beautiful brides) https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/07/06/buffalo-bills-tied-knot-married-mitchell-trubisky-jake-fromm/?utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR2O_WDzKpMqA1cy7_Jc5CDLhTLgc38yR2dMjH2iPDTFnJ-xe_382e0tXcQ
  19. Happy 245th Birthday, America. Post some of your favorite songs that reference the USA. I’ll kick it off with a trio of tunes...
  20. I Great video. Thanks for posting. I'm always shocked at how few people wore Bills gear to the games during those Super Bowl years. And you almost never see a jersey on anyone. When I think back on those years I always imagine it the opposite. Guess my memories are fuzzy.
  21. Happy Independence Day from beautiful Niagara Falls!
  22. That was a fun read, thanks for posting. I would also give an honorable mention to Niagara Falls' own James Starks at RB. Fun fact: He, Jonny Flynn and Paul Harris were all on the same NYS championship basketball team at Niagara Falls High School.
