  1. (Best Interview Ever) Calvin Burrel = Ernest T Bass
  2. R.I.P. Jack. You said, "Buffalo will always be my hometown." We say, "You'll always be loved and honored on TSW."
  3. How about one for a (two-time) former Bill - Disappearless Price.
  4. I know what you mean. As far as I'm concerned Bruce Mathison is an untouchable!
  5. I'll do you one better with a variation of a Kris Kirstofferson nugget: Dick Jauron is to dynasty what pantyhose is to finger fu**ing!
  6. Almost forgot about the "Condo." Thanks. This teams needs a Kelly making up nicknames for everyone.
  7. Welcome, fellow Bills' fanatic. Just a piece of advice : Skooby and Ieatcrayonz are the sages here. Take their words as gospel!
  8. I don't have the energy to read through 12 pages of posts so please forgive me if this has already been stated. I've heard Shoop, on a few occasions as of late, preface a comment about the Bills with something like, "If I liked this team I'd ..." or "I'm not a fan of the Bills, but..." It seems as if he has a real disdain for the organization (maybe dating back to the Donohoe era). I think that WGR would be better suited having a fan of the (by far, no disrespect Sabres' fans) #1 team in the area on the afternoon drive team. He sure is a long way from the days of "sports talk for smart people."
  9. You're list excluded our new starting TE Nelson. No Huddle, Baby!!
  10. THey actually had a line that said, "Buffalo is a big gang town." I'm sure the good folks at the CVB loved that one. They also had a scene at a Theme Park with a ferris wheel that was at least 30 years old. (Fantasy Isalnd?) Overall, a pretty lousy episode.
  11. If you add Wood's 4 scores they divide out to an 80.75 rating. Why is he 10 points lower than that?
  12. Has an opportunity to chat with Joe D. at the last boxing match at the Seneca Casino. Great guy and very knowledgeable boxing fan. A Hall of Famer both on and off the field.
  13. FA Wide Receiver I have no idea if this kid can make the leap, but it's a Hollywood movie waiting to be made if he can.
  14. Lynch is suspended for that game.
  15. I wrote a column on this (serious) subject a couple weeks back. For what it's worth here's my two cents on how it should be handled: Hail Mary Pass Needed to Save Bills
  16. Remember that when the Bills first switched Peters to guard the talk here was, "Now, we're going to play an undrafted TE at Tackle? We're doomed!" I think that if the Bills thought that they did not having good starting Tackles on the team already they never would have traded Peters. I don't know if things will pan out, but I like the confidence the team is showing to Butler and Bell.
  17. They went with 1 RB because they didn't want to deal with OJ being selected to the team. IMO, that cheapens the whole ordeal. OJ, the football player, was probably the greatest Bill ever. He was a guy that redefined what an NFL Running Back should be. Now, OJ the felon is another matter entirely. For what it's worth I think these sort of things should just look at playing careers and not off-the-field behavior.
  18. Relax, will ya? Most top wideouts don't really produce until year 3. With Owens in for 1 year it should set Hardy up to school behind him and breakout big next season. Btw, your answer, Sweed, had worse stats than Hardy did last year.
  19. I think I also heard that Godell has said that if the schedule is expanded to include more regular season games then the draft would happen on President's Day weekend.
  20. If you're going to shorten Day 1 to 2 rounds why not start at Noon and allow everyone to get done in time for dinner? I liked the old format - was hoping to see it switched back this year. St. Louis should be on the clock. ugh!
  21. If they hadn't signed T.O. it might be a possibility, but there's no way it happens now.
  22. I thought someone would go for opening day of free agency. Must be the James Posey effect.
  23. Of course he's forgetting that the Bills will have traded those two picks to Cleveland for Brady Quinn. Sheesh... Seriously though, I think they'd have to think long and hard about Raji if he's still there at 11.
  24. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=87773 Beat you by 2 hours.
  25. I can only ask 'em when I think of 'em.
