  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4880PJnO2E Here's the complete opposite of what went down yesterday. A young girl freezes up and Mo Cheeks knows precisely what to do.
  2. I wasn't endorsing the validity of the credentials of the guy(s) at Bleacher, but I will say that I like having the videos up to take an immediate look at the projected player in action.
  3. It's WR A.J. Green in the 1st and LB Martez Wilson in the 2nd (with all QB's excepting Gabbert on the board). Updated Mock Draft
  4. This topic is wide right of my sensibilities.
  5. Turns out the longtime maker of the "Terrible Towel" is a company in Wisconsin that bleeds Packer Green and Yellow. They are busy working on a Packer counter-towel. (To work the Bills and our old towel into this post) Could they put the "Whammy" on the Steelers? Terrible Towel made by Cheeseheads
  6. Don't ask, don't tell, but if that's what it takes to get to the SB, I hope to see C.J. dry-humping Fitz next January.
  7. It will probably cost me my "man card," but when I watch highlights from this game or the Houston comeback game I get a bit emotional. There was such a bond with that team. Maybe that will return someday - winning goes a long way in that regard. Boy, do I miss those '90s teams!
  8. Man. I'm sitting here watching that and just smiling to myself. What a great project and what a great way for kids to take pride in their community and their heritage. Great job Frontier!!!
  9. It also bears mentioning that Starks not only starred at UB, but is also a homegrown talent. He is born and raised in Niagara Falls and was a star QB for the Niagara Falls High School Wolverines, the same school that put Jonny Flynn in the NBA. Way to go "Buck," the Cataract City is proud of you! Go get yourself some dirty bird, then on to the NFC Championship game.
  10. It was a #5, but Ditka's folly for Ricky Williams probably has the most bearing on the Bills situation. Ditka trades away entire draft
  11. For a second, I thought Sully had been replaced by a former NBA headcase now plying his trade in Turkey.
  12. It's "too" bad, not "to" bad. Sorry, don't mean to nit-pik, but there are moments when I believe that texting and Internet chat and comment board use is killing the English language. Carry on as you were.
  13. It wouldn't suprise me if the money-pinching Bills consider cutting him outright. One factor that may play into their thinking is the renegotiation of Johnson's contract. He earned a paltry $385,000 this season and will need to be extended sooner rather than later. Evans' $9 mil+ skews things and drives Johnson's price up as he clearly has supplanted Lee as the number 1 on this team.
  14. Where's my "D Cell" batteries? Oh, wait, sorry wrong era!
  15. Usually when people type "LOL," they don't really "LOL," but when I read this I "LOL'd" really hard. Thanks.
  16. Guess I should add that Arthur Moats finally ended the Brett Favre weekly NFL soap opera.
  17. 3-10 seasons aren't pretty, but despite Jerry Sullivan and his ilk's outlook there are some positives about this team. In the spirit of Christmas let's list a few. Here's one to get it started: I really like the young receiving corps on this team. Johnson has been a revelation, Nelson and Jones have made some big catches, Parrish was finally living up to his potential and let's not forget that camp star Easley will be back next season. In fact, one might argue that the only weak link here all season was the aging and overpaid Lee Evans. All in all, I think the kids have been a big upgrade over TO and Josh Reed, with nothing but upside on the horizon.
  18. Wow, I had forgotten that the "dancing on the field: OT game against the Rams was the day before Howard Cosell told the world that Lennon had been shot, too. I was a junior in high school and went with my Dad to a vigil at UB. Beatles music was playing and people were just crying and shaking - very surreal. Thanks for sharing and here's hoping that the concept of world peace never goes out of style.
  19. Stevie (not Steve, btw - his wishes) is clearly #1 with Evans being a well-suited #2. Nothing wrong with that, I love our receiving corps!
  20. I agree that McGee doesn't have much trade value in the off-season. It's a shame the way his career is devolving. He is a great corner and I think he was the best returner the Bills' have had - including McKelvin, Parrish and Spiller.
  21. I've thought that for the past 4 or 5 games Johnson has looked and acted like the #1, while Evans has made a very capable #2 with a lot of possession catches. If that continues I'm not sure how it will play out in the locker room with the disparity in $$$, but it sure seems to be working on the field.
  22. He may be a lousy Def. Coordinator but if you go to Niagara Falls his namesake is one helluva jewler. George Edward's Jewlers
  23. to any post that works Ockham's razor into the conversation.
