  1. It references a classic Bill, but a few years ago someone here called a former two-time Bills' receiver Disappear-less Price.
  2. Thanks. Makes me sad that we've lost Dennis R.I.P.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU8gvF6WCIk The sniff is just classic. A little something to take your mind off of the lock-out blues.
  4. Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to lay to rest a true friend of the community who was taken from us suddenly at the tender age of 42. Mr. Wilson Farms was born in 1969, the year of Woodstock and moon landings. Preceding him were a slew of corner stores that had been erected in the postwar years in almost every neighborhood in Niagara Falls. These stores bore the names of immigrants who had come to America possessing little more than the current New York State lottery catchphrase -- a dollar and a dream. Eulogy for Wilson Farms
  5. Great post, great team, great times. Funny to see a guy named Edwards wearing number 80 - Lofton was just on the horizon. Does anyone have the clip of him explaining how he "played" some younger receivers into eating a big buffet breakfast before they ran for the Bills at the try-out? It's a classic story of a vet's vet working the system to his advantage.
  6. I don't know if you're on to Ralph's thinking or not, but it is a straw I'll happily grasp at. Your scenario works for everyone: Ralph's family, Jimbo and Co and the fans of Buffalo. From your mouth to God's ear.
  7. When Jeff Quinn took over he was blindsided by Maynard's decision to bolt the program. The kid went to Cal with no guarantee of starting and beat out 5 other hopefuls to win the starting gig. Too bad he didn't stay at UB, I think he would have shined in Quinn's offense. Cal Picks Maynard
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiNnDpIW918&NR=1tp:// Play this for someone, but don't let them see the screen, then give them 5 guesses as to who the group is that's playing. I had one friend guess "Foreigner" and "Blue Oyster Cult," lol. I also love the English host singing along at the end.
  9. Didn't hear about the Fitzcamp. Great news and thanks for the update.
  10. Many NFL teams are holding player-organized workouts during the lockout. Veteran QBs and RBs seem to be the ones getting their teams together and ready in lieu of formal mini-camps and workouts illegal while the labor dispute lingers. Shouldn't Fitzpatrick - fresh off of the vote of confidence the team gave him by not drafting a QB last week - be organizing the Bills? Also, if such workouts were conducted could the Bills draftees take part and could a veteran "loan" then a copy of the playbook? NFL Vets leading Workouts
  11. A million thumbs up on the Chaplin speech! Just want to say how much I've enjoyed just about every vid posted (save Fairy Boy, that is). I can't imagine the regulars on a *Patsie or Fish head board having such eclectic and well-received tastes - it sure is nice being from God's country, isn't it?
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBmLK1cRjeA If the kid in red has a skeleton, he left it at home this day!
  13. Nice - really enjoyed this one. Thanks!
  14. I'll kick it off: Here's Tom Green (who was in Canada's answer to the Beastie Boys back in the day - called Organized Rhyme) perfectly setting up Xzibit on a live podcast show. Love the look on Xzibit's face the moment he realizes that what he thinks is going to be a nightmare with a goofy white guy that can't rap is suddenly a gauntlet that's been thrown down at his feet. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ebi-_o_3dgs
  15. Don't have much to say about Dante - what's left to say, really, except "Goodbye?" - but did want to say that I've been listening to the George Harrison "All Things Must Pass" CD recently and I love your screen name.
  16. Here's a mock for the just completed draft that was done back in January. Most of the picks seem crazy when looked at in hindsight. Already there are 2012 mocks out - other than a reason to waste printer's ink, what's the point? The good news is that the Bills ended up with 2 first round picks as they were predicted here: Early 2011 Mock
  17. Had to do it because of the subject of your post. Though to say that we are allowed to butcher Searcy's name aloud would be correct.
  18. I can't tell if the OP is being sarcastic or not. I love what the Bills did in this draft, but do think that whatever scouts they have covering the northern and eastern ends of the country must be thinking, "WTF did I just spend a year of my life putting 250,000 miles on my Honda Civic for anyway?" I think their philsophy was a new one: BPA south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Get 'er done, Buddy!
  19. I give the draft an A+ Sure, it's too early to know how these guys will pan out, but the theory of their draft (still amazed that they actually have one) was right on. All 3 picks address the porous run defense. 3 and outs should be far more common now, giving the offense a boost by proxy. Nice work, Buddy
  20. Cleveland should get an A+++++ They walk away with DT Phil Taylor (which just about every mock done on TBD hoped would end up on the Bills in the 2nd) give up a 3rd but acquire Atlanta's No. 27 overall pick and second- and fourth-round picks this year, in addition to Atlanta's first- and fourth-round picks in 2012. If the Bills had been in place to make such a play I think most here would be ecstatic.
