  1. I fully expect Chan to use the "bunch" formation to pick and screen Stevie free from Revis on some slant routes. The Bills' offense is perfectly designed to free up a receiver against any one particular defender.
  2. Milstein Bio Sorry, here's the Milstein link
  3. His name is Howard Milstein and in addition to what you'll see here he was named the Director of the NYS Thruway back in June.
  4. Just to clarify, I don't prefer a dome myself, but I think in this weather climate one is needed to justify the cost. Albany would never pony up $1 billion + for a stadium with single digit usage days per year. A dome would allow for many more events and a retractable roof might be the way to go for football. The idea is to find real, tangible ways to keep the team in WNY. The $100 million renovation figure is the MINIMUM that the NFL would require to even consider keeping the team here. Niagara Falls gets shafted by NY State annually. All of the millions collected at the Niagara Falls State Park go to Albany and never return. Casino dolllars - same thing. Hydro power dollars - they leave too and people here pay some of the higest rates in the nation for electricity. Leveraging that is a way to hold Albany's feet to the fire. Isn't about time that the capital did soemthing for WNY beyond lip service?
  5. "What is the bigger move? What could the people of Western New York do to make a national statement that the Bills are our team, the NFL our birthright, and that we are serious about being a real player at a poker table many think has reached a level too steep for our wallet? Eschewing the stadium renovations in favor of building a state-of-the-art domed stadium would be the first shot across the bow that I'd fire to serve that notice nationally. Putting that stadium in downtown Niagara Falls would be the second." Would you support a plan to build a new dome in place of shelling out $100 million to update the Ralph? A DOME FOR THE BILLS IN NIAGARA FALLS COULD KEEP TEAM HERE, REVITALIZE CITY
  6. Thurman was on WGR last night, moving interview as he broke down in tears, and he said that he and Bruce and Jim and a bunch of the SB team were flying to Mississippi (Thursday and Friday) to be with Kent's family this weekend, Don't know how that will affect the Rochester show, but you may want to check with the organizers to see if they are still scheduled to appear.
  7. Just wanted to give WGR-550 some props for the great coverage they gave the story this morning. Lots of touching interviews with former players, coaches and media. RIP Kent - Thanks for bringing so much character and dignity to all that you touched in your life.
  8. Didn't hear it, but any Dr. Suess reference in an NFL game gets a from me!
  9. Another guy already did it last year and it was played at the Arena. Google "Glen Altman."
  10. The Buffalo Bounce Workin' on the Chan Gang 7th Rounders and Free Agents, Baby!
  11. Awesome! Thanks so much!!!!!
  12. I heard WGR teasing it, saying it was hilarious, but couldn't stick around the dial to hear it. Tried to find it with Google, but no luck. Does anyone know where to find it online? Thanks in advance if you do.
  13. Way to go, Senator. Couldn't happen to a harder-working more deserving guy!
  14. How do you bench a guy that is averaging a sack a game with multiple pressures? Just one more reason why Denver is a woeful team.
  15. Sal does a great job. Sadly, Bulldog and Schopp represent the best of WGR (with the exception of Simon and White from the morning show)so Sal seems almost like a transcendent by comparison.
  16. If you didn't need another reason to love your starting QB, he and his wife actually have Sunday crockpot get-togethers at their home after games. Crock Pot Fitzmagic "In the middle of it all—dishing out his wife's cooking, apologizing for the dead grass, grinning through his thickening beard—was Crock-Pot Sunday's 28-year-old host. As usual, Ryan Fitzpatrick had beaten his neighbors home from the stadium. They like to stick around the parking lot for some postgame revelry, but NFL quarterbacks don't tailgate. Though on Sunday, Fitzpatrick might have liked to."
  17. "Bad things, man. Bad things!"
  18. Kinda reminds me of another classic blue that used to represent Buffalo... How do you Doo?
  19. Hahaha, just seeing that question posed made me smile. It would be an unprecedented pick for the franchise, but let me answer your question this way...who cares? If we get a parade in early February I don't care who they pick in April!
  20. The receiving core has never been taller, with Stevie, Nelson and Jones 6'2", 6' and 6' 5" respectively. Not to mention the towering Scott Chandler at 6' 7". Not exactly your Redskin-loving grandfather's smurfs.
  21. Click the PFW link and vote for the Bills as the suprise team with the best chance of winning the SB. In 2nd place now, 21 votes behind the Lions.
  22. That woman calls it the "Ralph Reach Around."
  23. After watching this along with the "Mic'd Up" piece last night I am really impressed with Fitzy's pre-snap reads. He is at an elite level right now and he will need every bit of that ability this weekend to beat the *Pats.
  24. Well, of course I'm in favor of it!
