  1. Wasn't being critical - I think it's a great question. he went into a bunch of coach speak, but said that he would consider it. Obviously, he didn't use it against the Ravens, but maybe we'll see it against the Browns.
  2. "Am I invisible, do I not have a voice?" Jeremy White - WGR550 (He's been screaming about the QB sneak for 2 weeks straight now - even asked Marrone about it directly in an attempt to get him to use it against the Ravens.
  3. I'll take a crack at one: What do the 2013 NFL draft and the first 4 Bills' opponents have in common? Answer: They both learned the hard way, you don't pass on Kiko.
  4. “It’s just soreness in the ankle,” said Spiller. ”I’ll see how I feel in the morning and do as much training as I can and get ready for Thursday even though it’s a short week. It’s going to be tough but I’m going to do everything on my end to be in a position to be ready to play.” http://blogs.buffalo...s-in-the-ankle/
  5. Great points as always Bill and for once I knew the Dead song you referenced. What a great day
  6. He is a Buffalo kid that played his tail off every practice and every game and I know I speak for many when I say I hope he gets another shot somewhere to contribute.
  7. If I might pose a serious question concerning the seemingly epidemic number of cases of female teachers molesting teen male students: Do you think it directly corresponds to the fact that women are viewing pornography at a much higher frequency than previous generations due to the internet? Not moralizing, just wondering why there is this great spike now.
  8. Ba-dum-ba! Nicely played, Sir.
  9. # games in seems like the perfect time to grade out last year's draft.
  10. Way to go Mario. Screw the NFL stat page.
  11. Can't believe Penthouse couldn't maintain a proper spread sheet.
  12. Easley was in, too. They went straight back to the goal line.
  13. Exactly. The only way a squib would work in that spot is if it bounced off of the Panthers player's hands and time expired.
  14. I say he didn't know the rule because of what you just said. A pooch over the first line would have eliminated the threat of a hail mary.
  15. I apologize if this has been covered already, but I was at the game and couldn't believe that the Panthers could field the squib kick before 2 seconds expired. It appeared that the fielding player got the ball and immediately took a knee in the field of play (I had no idea you could do that). I thought that the play could only be blown dead once a Bills' player touched him down. The result was that Carolina had a shot from a point on the field where their QB could reach the endzone. (Thankfully, Kiko ended that threat with a huge sack). So, I assume that means that in a similar situation teams should not squib. Also, the Bills ST coach should have known about this rule, don't you think?
  16. I was at the game and a group of 4 guys - who were totally into the game throughout - got up and left just before the final drive. I told them they'd be kicking themselves when EJ drove the Bills to his first-ever 4th quarter comeback. Hey, I tried. All great moments like yesterday can only happen when the team is down in the 4th quarter. To leave just to get a jump on traffic s inexcuseable. Glad I stayed ( and thanks to all of the great people in Section 101 that shared that great moment with me and my oldest son).
  17. Now that made me LOL. Well done!
  18. Thanks for the info. I'll give him a ring. Oh, the car is in Punta Gorda.
  19. You might not have time to work it into your trip, but I did a little mini-vaca to Cleveland last year (like Buffalo, it has a lot to offer if you get past the sterotypes) and loved the Christmas Story Museum. It's the actual house used for the exterior shots in the movie and they have redone the insides to replicate Ralphie's home - right down to the Red Ryder BB gun under the christmas tree. Totally hands-on (you can even climb under the sink to Randy's hiding spot). http://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com
  20. My father-in-law passed away and his car is in Florida. I plan to fly down and drive it back to NY. Has anyone ever done this? What do I need to do to get temporary registration (in FL or NY???) and can my insurance company give me temporary insurance for the trip? Thanks for any advice.
  21. Carpenter could get released if Hopkins is healthy. (or maybe Hopkins could get the boot if Carpenter has impressed in practices).
  22. My first job back in the early 80s was at a pizzeria where we shredded our own blocks of Sorrento mozzerella cheese. It smelled) and tasted) so good. Sad to see it go.
  23. Thanks. Does Verizon have to come back out to do that?
