  1. This house is on one of the worst streets in Niagara Falls. The man who did all of the amazing work, Isaiah Robertson ( no, not the former Ram and Bill), believes that Jesus is returning and coming straight to the Falls. He is probably out of his mind, but you can't deny his skill as a carpenter and artist. http://fredscruton.com/prophet-isaiah-robertson-pg-2/
  2. Here is the rest of the *Pats schedule with my W-L projections. I have them at 8-8 and that's with a win over Chicago and the last game against the Bills. The division is ours for the taking. 6 Oct 12 1:00PMEDT ) AT Bills Loss 7 Oct 16 8:25PMEDT * , Jets Win 8 Oct 26 1:00PMEDT ) Bears Win 9 Nov 2 4:25PMEST * Broncos Loss 10 BYE 11 Nov 16 8:30PMEST ' AT Colts Loss 12 Nov 23 1:00PMEST ) Lions Win 13 Nov 30 4:25PMEST * AT Packers Loss 14 Dec 7 8:30PMEST ' AT Chargers Loss 15 Dec 14 1:00PMEST * Dolphins Loss 16 Dec 21 1:00PMEST * AT Jets Win 17 Dec 28 1:00PMEST * Bills Win ( Bills already clinched and rest starters)
  3. I'm in Section 124, The food counter right next to me has the Pizza Logs.
  4. "This is the face I'm going to make just before Jerry Hughes and Marcell Dareus knock me into next week!"
  5. Mark Kelso hinted at the same on Sunday's pregame. I'm going to be sure to be in my seat early.
  6. Sorry, missed it, but I concur, It is outrageously good!
  7. Well don't forget the value of the franchise will still grow, as well. The TV contracts in 5-10 years will make another jump forward. All in all, it's still a nice investment, even with the overpay on the estimated value.
  8. Saw this little nugget in Peter King's MMQB. With the $30 mil the Bills currently clear, it means he should recoup his $1.4 Billion purchase price in 26 years. Not too shabby... http://mmqb.si.com/2014/10/06/nfl-week-5-peter-king-monday-morning-quarterback/ Quietly, every franchise in the NFL just improved its bottom line by $24.2 million a year, without any effort whatsoever. The new deal the NFL signed Wednesday with DirecTV, an eight-year contract worth a minimum of $12 billion (I hear it’s slightly more than that) beginning in 2015, is an increase in rights fees for satellite TV from $1 billion to $1.5 billion per year. That $500-million-per-year increase nets out to $15.6 million per team. Add to that the new $275 million this year from CBS for doing the Thursday night package ($8.6 million per team) and you’ve got $24.2 million a year more in found money for NFL teams from TV revenue alone. (To be clear, the DirecTV contract starts in 2015, and the $275 million will certainly be the floor that the NFL accepts from whichever network does the Thursday night package in 2015.)
  9. I thought for sure this was going to be another Jerry Hughes for NASA thread.
  10. I think you're probably right about the genius part. Watching it back I think he's going for a Tommy Smothers type of befuddlement and he's hitting all of the right notes.
  11. His delivery needs some work, but the writing was top-notch. As Johnny used to say, "Good stuff."
  12. Respect right back 'atcha Thanks for the info, you're inclination makes sense to me.
  13. Just wondering if anyone knows the story of the similarities between the logos of the Bills and Howard University? Howard has been around since 1893, so it would appear that the Bills lifted the logo from them when they ash-canned the old standing buffalo logo in the early '70s. Anyone know the story of how the current logo came to be?
  14. One more, Lunetta's in Buffalo makes an amazing Turkey Sub. They roast an actual turkey daily and hard-carve the meat. Awesome!
  15. Orton, play action pass to Chandler 20 yards down field, Chandler hook and ladder to a streaking ( clothes on ) Sammy Watkins for an 80-yard TD, Will never happen, but imagine how much you would freak if it did.
  16. What about the WGR app?
  17. What great news for Buffalo and Detroit. It is very heartening that people like Ralph, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and many others are giving large chunks of their money back to charitable causes. You can't take it with you - philanthropy rules! ( Here's a list of the heroes: http://givingpledge.org/) Thank you, Mr. Wilson.
  18. http://www.kavinokytheatre.com/ Went to the Kavinoky Theatre last night and saw the play Over the Tavern, It is set in 1959 Buffalo and it follows a Polish Catholic family. The youngest son is questioning Catholicism and clashes, hilariously, with the head nun at his school. The play was a laugh riot from start to finish and features a lot of local references, including a recurring subplot revolving around a take-out meal from Chef's that never seems to arrive. Due to overwhelming demand, the play has been extended through next week. The Kivinoky is a local gem - as plush as Shea's, but only 10 rows deep. Take your significant other, it's truly a night out that all Buffalo couples will enjoy together.
  19. Only Bills player cut for admitting that he didn't study the playbook at all during the week and cost the team a game. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
  20. Reminds me of a joke: Why did Tigger have his head in the toilet? He was looking for Pooh.
  21. When the sale process was underway, Pegula was continually described as a "cash-flush multibillionaire." Still can't get over the fact that he was OUR guy and not some ominous figure from Toronto or LA. Thank God for small miracles.
  22. I love Bocce, but Lahacienda in the Falls is soooo good.
  23. I made it 3 minutes in before clicking over to Red Tube, let me know how it ended up.
