  1. Rex's Best line: "This fan base, with the loyalty they exhibit, deserves a loyal coach." Marrone's ears still haven't stopped ringing.
  2. Whoever he is he was absolutely in the know. He nailed everything correctly, when all of the national media had Rex going to Atlanta and Trestman as his OC. When the board went after him, me included, and asked for a link to his info, he said it came in a text from Whaley to him ( he later edited out that statement). Then he posted this: "This is just the tip of the iceberg. The things I am hearing will literally blow your mind. (QB situation,Free Agency,'draft) it's all really amazing. Are you prepared for the Pegula Bills? Reborn... Imo" That, more than any national talking head speculation, has me very excited for the off-season.
  3. 26 posts in and no one stumping for the Bills to take him in the 2nd Rd. Impressive.
  4. Rex quotes are at the bottom. Good stuff.
  5. Better? Special teams went from 30th in 2013 to 4th this past season. Can't ask for much more than that. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamst
  6. Between Leroi and now Chris, this board has become the cutting edge way to know what is going to happen with the Bills. Love it!
  7. From Antonio Cromartie: Congrats to Coach Rex Ryan on the @buffalobills job. That organization is getting a great coach who is very passionate about what he does. 6:00pm - 11 Jan 15
  8. I heard it, too. From Leroi yesterday and so far he's been spot-on.
  9. Well, then thank God he's keeping Jim Schwartz in place to run one of the most dominant defenses in the league.
  10. Substitute Ryan for Revis and Atl for NE and that's exactly what all of the national pundits were saying right up until this morning. Not without an astronomical salary that NE will not pay. He'll be a FA for sure. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4760152/details-on-darrelle-revis-contract
  11. I feel good about the hire, Dean. I mean in a deep down intuitive way and I'm always right when I feel that way. So, keep the faith, this one is gonna turn out fantastically.
  12. I think Revis in a Bills uni would look pretty sweet. I fully expect hi to be a primary target in FA.
  13. Love this paragraph: The tortured history of the Jets virtually guarantees that Rex will turn into Vince Lombardi, and every Play Like A Bill exclamation from him is certain to puncture the eardrums of long-suffering Jets fans.
  14. Thanks, Scott, for everything. It was hell not being able to get on the site as the Rex thing was peaking. I'm sure there are many times when you think, I don't need these headaches. So glad you keep coming back for more.
  15. Great job Leroi. Now excited about what you eluded to in this post: This is just the tip of the iceberg. The things I am hearing will literally blow your mind. (QB situation,Free Agency,'draft) it's all really amazing. Are you prepared for the Pegula Bills? Reborn... One thing I find interesting: when you were being attacked for your prediction of a 2nd interview and asked to provide a source for your info, you said that, "It came from a text this morning from Doug Whaley to me. Later you edited out the Whaley to you part. Curious... Still, very appreciative for the inside info. Thanks again.
  16. Maybe, but what he predicted was that a 2nd interview would happen and he named that tune in one note.
  17. Thanks for the info, Leroi. Btw, if my high school French serves me well, Le Roi is French for The King. You sure were tonight, my friend.
  18. We gotta get you a woman - Todd Rungren. Nice reference.
  19. Welcome. Nice points, well presented. Don't let some on the board corrupt you.
  20. I know. I couldn't get a response from the Bills when I called with a $153,000 check for Darryl Talley. Lol Great gesture by the Seahawks though, good on them.
  21. Only 2 points out. It's going to be a wild ride until April. Btw, heard a discussion on WGR550 and they were talking about an extended Corsica number that includes blocked shots, missed shots, passes toward the net that are intercepted, etc. Carolina is actually a + number and Edmonton is a -90. The Sabres? A league-worst -930. The next closest was Toronto with a -400. There is no doubt that the Sabres are the worst team, by far, and the standings are finally back to nearly representing that. Thank God.
  22. Tasker revolutionized his position and what he accomplished as a gunner is still the ideal sought after by today's ST. players. The fact that STers are on the field less than offensive and defensive players is irrelevant to the discussion of HOF worthiness. Evidently, the Ray Guy selection was an anomaly and not the ushering in of a new era of voter enlightenment. As for Polien, I'd love to go see him enshrined, but the trip to Canton is a bit of a heavy lift.
  23. This guy really nails it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/07/real-life-peter-griffin_n_6430328.html?ir=Weird+News&ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000022
