  1. This guy is the funniest comic you've probably never heard of.
  2. Eichel's first Sabres practice. http://www.wgr550.com/Eichel-has-his-first-practice-wearing-the-Sabres-c/21717221
  3. Paul Hamilton tweets from Today. Reinhart really impressed me. He seems so at ease this year, he does look bigger and he just sounds confident. Reinhart said he and Eichel are roommates during this camp.
  4. They married in Buffalo on July 4th http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/05/entertainment/vanessa-williams-jim-skrip-marries-feat/index.html?sr=fb7515VanessaWilliamsmarries5pStoryLink
  5. Per WGR text, Sabres sign left shooting Defensemen Carlo Colaiacovo - 1 yr - $900,000 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_Colaiacovo
  6. I should have listed this guy first, Terry Fox.
  7. I also thought that there was no way he was going to let McDavid get a year up on him and have to chase his numbers throughout his career.
  8. Oh, and special love goes out today to CBF. Greatly appreciate all of your contributions to the board.
  9. a few more... Joni Mitchell, everyone (except Levon Helm) in The Band, Leonard Cohen and Jim Carrey.
  10. Great news about Eichel! Onward and upward!
  11. Canada turns 148 today. To honor this glorious day for our neighbors to the north please take a moment and post a pic of a Canadian that has inspired you with his or her actions and deeds. I'll start it off with the one and only Neil Young.
  12. RIP my Bills brother. May heaven be a place where the kick never goes wide right, the home run throwback is always ruled an illegal forward lateral and a skate in the crease is always called No Goal.
  13. Wow, really makes you think hard about reselling. I think if I do for any games this year I will only resell through the NFL site. Seems like they'd have a harder time revoking your tix when it's their endorsed site.
  14. Question: I have Bills season tickets. I sell a game on Stubhub or through the NFL resale site, which I have done in the past. Someone buys my tickets and shines a laser in the opposing QBs eyes. Can I lose my season tickets?
  15. Ice water. I drank Diet Coke, Coke Zero, etc for decades. For some reason, 6 months ago I switched to water and actually feel a lot better.
  16. It's unanimous: Sabres draft day winners http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/draft/2015/06/26/nhl-draft-winners-losers-strange-moments-connor-mcdavid-jack-eichel/29380869/ http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/25226459/nhl-draft-winners-and-losers-from-the-first-round http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/capitals-insider/wp/2015/06/27/winners-and-losers-from-the-2015-nhl-draft/ http://www.sportingnews.com/nhl/story/2015-06-27/nhl-draft-2015-winners-losers-grades-first-round-picks-trade-rumors-mcdavid-eichel-strome-penguins-maple-leafs http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2015/06/27/winners-and-losers-of-the-2015-nhl-draft/ http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/nhl/nhl-draft-a-day-of-winners-but-no-losers-amidst-event-full-of-hope-trades-and-new-prospects#__federated=1
  17. Sounds like a great pick to fill the void created when Zadorov was dealt.
  18. Read this quote from a Sens fan on TSN, thought I'd share: "I wish they would not have traded Lehner especially within the division. Don't fool yourself. Lehner will be a really good goaltender for the Sabres. Paul McLean misused this guy big time. Don't be upset with this Sabres fans. You will come to love this guy, just like most Sens fans did. Won the Calder Cup and MVP at the age of 19 in the AHL. He's good. He just has to be given a chance. The Sens will regret this move big time. Best of luck in your future Robin. So sad to see you go."
