  1. Penalty kill. As for your question about a good coach for this team: we tried really hard to get him and he's coaching 90 minutes up the QEW in Toronto.
  2. I read your post and bought a pair (black frames). Got them yesterday and so far, so good.
  3. Lehner had a strong game. He didn't wander from his crease and didn't have his usual issues with getting back up off of the ice in a timely manner.
  4. Mark Pysyk how soon we've forgotten you. LOL.
  5. It is just a bit sweeter anytime we beat the Leafs.
  6. "Cop mistakes donut glaze for crack, DA finds a hole in her testing methodology."
  7. Amazon has it. https://www.amazon.com/Jolt-COLA-LONGNECK-making-12-Ounce/dp/B001IW05IQ
  8. Man if things are so tight that you've resorted to eating cat food we can pass the hat for you. LOL.
  9. Was at the Walmart in Lockport and they sell the 12-packs of OV cans. Took a pic for you, but the file is too big to upload here. I'm guessing that all WNY Walmart carry them.
  10. The pre-cursor to all of today's energy drinks. Jolt was way ahead of it's time.
  11. Yeah, that was good stuff. I also buy a pack of Blackjack gum when they bring it back every 10 years or so.
  12. What a wild finish. Bonnies hit a three to go up by one with .04 left. Buzzer sounds and Olean students storm the floor. Refs assess the Bonnie's a technical. VCU sinks the FT, sending the game to OT where St. Bonaventure loses. Crazy... http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/02/college-basketball-st-bonaventure-early-court-rush-loss-fans-technical-vcu
  13. I would like to share the viewing message that my buddy and I have come up with for Sabres games. We DVR the game and start watching one hour after actual puck drop. That way, we don't have to watch any commercials - we simply fast forward through them. We also fast forward through the intermissions. When the other team gets a power-play we fast forward through it, only stopping if they score a goal. That way, we don't have any of the tension of watching the Sabres try to get possession and clear the puck. If the Sabres go down by two goals we fast-forward to see if the other team scores next or if the Sabres get one and get back into it. If the Sabres cut it to a one goal deficit we begin watching regular time once again. We've been able to get in whole games with about a one-hour time commitment. Be cautioned, if you start using this method it will become impossible to go back to old-style viewing.
  14. Did some quick research. It appears that both Walmart and Rite Aid distribute OV. I'll take a look the next time I'm in either and let you know what I find.
  15. I think he's specifically referencing OV Splits, which were small bottles about the size of half of a regular beer.
  16. Swiss Chalet still exists in Canada. I ate at the one in NF, ON last month, the dipping sauce is still the bomb.
  17. I own three sets and throw them regularly. Let me know if you're ever up in the Eastern end of Niagara County, we'll play a game or two.
  18. Here's a fun game: What discontinued items do you wish they'd start making again? Here are three of mine to get you started: Campbell's Chicken 'n Dumplings condensed soup - far superior to the creamy version they offer now. Kaboom Cereal - A bowl of these rainbow-colored goodies and some Looney Toons on the 17" TV set and Saturday morning was nothing but smooth sailing in the '70s. Hostess Blackberry Pie - No trip to the corner store was complete without one of these bad boys - the king of the Hostess fruit pie stable. Honorable mention to Peach and Chocolate. One could argue that Hostess kept the worst of the lot with Apple, Cherry and Lemon being the only ones still manufactured. (JJ's pies makes a Blackberry that is a pretty good replication).
  19. Actually made me laugh out loud. Well played, Sir, well played.
  20. I've been playing tennis since I was six years old. Was all-league in high school. Love the pro game. Great final this morning. Happy for Roger to get another major at this stage of his career.
