  1. Happy Birthday, Scott. Hope your day is awesome.
  2. Reminds me of a story that my boss, who is now a hotel mogul, likes to tell. In 1996, he was working the front desk of a hotel owned by his father. He was in college and starting to feel his oats a bit. A guest called down and said, "I need an Executive Decision." My boss thought, I'm the owner's son, I can handle this, and said, "Sure sir, I can make an Executive Decision for you, what do you need? The guest responded, "No, you idiot, I'm trying to buy the Kurt Russell movie "An Executive Decision" and it won't come through on the pay-per-view box in my room.
  3. Sabres needed to win by six goals or more to take the tournament title ended up cruising to an eight goal differential in this game. The future looks bright!
  4. Somebody pin this thread, it is quickly on its way to epic TSW status.
  5. The Mrs and I are 7 episodes in on season 2 and loving it. Great acting and very well-written.
  6. That is a very powerful line-up by the Sabres, on paper, they should cruise to the title.
  7. I loved Jackie Gleason, cools story, thanks. Here is a great family Guy spoof. Might be NSFW.
  8. Popular? I can't change the dial fast enough when that segment comes on. Simon never picks the Bills for an upset and always has them going 6-10 or 7-9. Radio at at its worst.
  9. I think most Bills fans have adopted the weatherman philosophy: if there is a 30% chance of inclement weather call for a rainy day. If you're right people expected it and are okay. If you're wrong and it's sunny, people are delighted. Now, if you do it the other way and call for sunshine and it pours down buckets of rain, they want your head on a platter.
  10. Was it by a Packers fan there, too.
  11. Fragile - must be Italian. Thanks for the many years of great input, Chandler.
  12. Yeah, you can start with the third quarter and the last drive is one of the most improbable ones you'll ever see end in a TD.
  13. Well, that was an unexpected, wildly-entertaining finish to the preseason.
  14. Well, then you definitely have no idea what the "Rope a Dope" reference means.
  15. RIP, a true American War Hero.
  16. There is only one thing that you need to know about Mike Schoop: After Ralph died and before Terry Pegula materialized as a potential bidder and it was a widely-held sentiment that the Bills would be bought and relocated, Schoop went on the air and stated that if he was a billionaire he wouldn't buy the team because they " just don't matter that much to me." Now if I was the station manager I would have immediately terminated his contract and freed him up to follow his passions elsewhere. Is there anyone on this board that wouldn't have saved the Bills if you had the billions to do so?
  17. Terrible news. Here's Marty at his finest and a bevy of beauties to boot.
  18. Ahh, that explains why McDermott said they would be disguising play changes at the line this season using parseltongue.
  19. Was definitely not my cup of tea. The wife and I stuck with it, but it was a chore. The amputee angle was weird (and off-putting). Billy Bob's character is oft-referenced as one of the great lawyers of recent times, but he is really just playing his Bad Santa character (smelly old man, living in a motel somehow getting lots of heterosexual sex) with a better pedigree. To top it off the show has ruined the song from HR Puffenstuff for me forever. I won't be back for season 3.
  20. Speaking of Monster's Ball, what was the significance of the hand with the bird in the cage in that sex scene?
  21. The documentary is wonderful. He was a brilliant man that tackled subjects like racism, assassination and the threat of nuclear war head-on with grace and dignity. https://www.history.com/news/mr-rogers-episodes-taboo-topics
  22. Cam Newton looked on from a distance and anticipated the delicacies of a revenge served cold.
