  1. Do the names Travis Henry, Willis McGahee, Marshon Lynch and CJ Spiller ring a bell? All were drafted high and none of them sniffed a playoff game in Buffalo.
  2. Wonderful alliteration, well played sir, well played.
  3. Favourite, is everyone becoming Canadian?
  4. Seems like he would be a nice upgrade over Dennison.
  5. Thanks for your stellar coverage of the Bills all season, Chris. Go Bills!
  6. Nice column, lots of research on the math. Thanks for posting.
  7. ^^^Doesn't matter what his resolutions are, he only makes them so he has something to give up for Lent.
  8. Augie, you sound like an amazing dad that did everything he could do to help his son. I know the pain will always be with you, but the seeds you two have planted together will forever blossom in the Spring. May those memories bring you some peace. My deepest condolences.
  9. Notice that VERY is capitalized, gentlemen.. He is referencing Homerun throwback and the kickoff, not the Bills first play from scrimmage.
  10. Thanks, Brother. I made the OP from my phone before heading out to brush off the car, appreciate the direct link.
  11. Nice shout-out to Eric and the boys in the latest Nick Mendola rap. Kudos! www.buffalosportspage.com/bills-rap-drought-is-over/
  12. That's disappointing. I just watched his interview with John Murphy and he was very appreciative of what has happened, but it would take a webmaster all of 5 minutes to put up a banner saying, "Thank You to the amazing fans of the Buffalo Bills, your generosity will positively impact the lives of hundreds of deserving children."
  13. O J. He gets released from prison and poof the drought vanishes. Undeniable.
  14. Was finally able to make a donation after getting the error message yesterday. Glad to see Bills fans once again setting an example of class for the nation to aspire to.
  15. Lots of nice comments from the Bengals fans over there, warmed my heart. Thanks again for linking.
  16. Thanks, brother. I knew we had a good man on the job.
  17. Hopefully, we have someone here that is already a member there and can post a link to this thread.
  18. Please join me in sending a heartfelt thank you to Marvin Lewis, Andy Dalton, Tyler Boyd and the rest of the Cincinnati Bengals for the part they played yesterday in helping us end the longest drought in all of professional sports. I've always loved Cincinnati (my son is a patient at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and we travel there once a year to see his neurologists) but never more so than when that 4th and 12 conversion for a TD sent the city of Buffalo into a celebration that still reverberates today. Thank you Cincy, from the bottom of our long-beleaguered hearts. (Hopefully, we can send a link of this tread to their fan forum)
  19. These were the playoff odds as the games were unfolding today. Before that Bengals 4th and 12 conversion for a TD, the Bills were only at a 3% probability of making it. The Gods surely were smiling upon us today.
  20. Unbelievable. The drought is over. I am so happy for the kids in their 20s who have never known a playoff team before.
  21. Raise your glass high boys, Through your lips drink down the stout, Today ends the drought
  22. I know the feeling, but I truly hope that if we don't make it the reason isn't so gut-wrenching.
  23. Yesterday I was rooting for Team USA and they had a big come-from-behind victory (wearing Bills jerseys, btw) over Canada at New Era. Then, the Sabres had an improbable overtime victory on the road versus the Devils. Those wins make me feel better about the game in Miami tomorrow. I've found that on weekends when teams I root for win, like the Sabres, Orange and Bonnies, the Bills often follow suit. Conversely, when those teams lose the Bills seem to go down in flames, too. Just curious if any of you have that same feeling when the teams you root for in other sports win just before a Bills game? I know it's a reach, but I'll take any juju we can get this weekend. Squish the fish, end the drought.
