I LOVE extended Daquan. I would think he wants a big pay day or we would have done it. OR they agreed on it and are close and waiting for the right time to finalize it. Jordan Phillips is good when healthy and think he can be healthier than in the past. He is a playmaker and disruptive on the field. I am confident his pay is based on performance and/or playing time. I agree I would prefer to pay Shaq over JP. I like them both and want them both on the team though. I am fine restructuring Dion if we need the money. Not comfortable with Tre and was not comfortable with Diggs either. Go Bills!

And, do we care more about a potential 3rd round comp pick than compete for a Championship? Beane has wasted many 3rd round picks on trade up, unfortunately. However, I do think we will end up with a 3rd round comp pick for Edmunds. There is lots of time between now and May for players to be signed. We don't need to sign much more and we have lots of players that are FA's and will be signed by other teams. I thought the ante to getting comp picks was a minimum of net zero gained or lost or 1 player positive lost?

Regarding LB, DT, EDGE. We can resign Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips cheap. Another DT is probably needed in the draft.
