Wowsers, good call on the positions. I like the list of positions. My rankings on your positions... 1. Large DT Big drop off 2. Swing tackle 2B. CB - agree on the CBs left and our ability to coach them up 3. Maybe a Safety 4. WR - not sure we have a roster spot for one - on another note we could be a good destination for UDFA WRs I want a big DT for short and long term on the Bills. DaQuan Jones is solid, but, old.

I liked Tippman and Schmitz too. I didn't like Torrence in the 1st, but, I am good with him in the 2nd. I hear what you are saying exactly. But, I think the value is too good to pass on at #59.

No, keep them, we will need them. The biggest IOL in the draft does not play C. I do not know for sure, but, I don't think a C has ever been this big in the NFL. He is a G and Guard only. Very excited about the pick.

Happy birthday!

True dat! I used to follow the draft more. James Hardy...I would have been fine taking him in the first, then we got him in the 2nd and I thought we won the lottery! I have his jersey. Then he opened up gun fire and killed his father, then he died. Sorry if this sounds superficial, but, he was a bust.

I am not confident that is the case. It might have been a good run with Donahoe if the Bills traded up and drafted Rotho something. It would have changed the trajectory with the butterfly effect. Donahoe had some good qualities. Ralph Wilson would have trusted him more if we had Roethlisberger and had more success. In all reality, if we drafted Roethlisberger the last 20 years would be totally different.

Denney and Reed were JAGs. Wire was a useful late round pick. Which Williams? Was that Mike Williams at #4?

Totally agree and especially with a year of rehab as well. However, RB was more valued then, but, I still don't get it and still don't like it.

Agreed, but, that is a lot of options and leverage of safeties. But, no clear path. I like all the hedging and options. But, not sure on anything. Poyer and Hyde are awesome! But, getting old and have concerns. Rapp is possibly a good fill in. Hamlin May or may not play again and is not a complete safety, but, a good back up. Andersen and Mayden….meh on meh JMO

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Manther replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oliver would need to exit to take on Hopkins. Maybe the Bills draft a 1 technique on Day 2 of the draft and then can trade Oliver to free up the cap space. It is more like Madden and probably not happening at all, but.............go Bills! Haha, very funny because it is very true! -
GOAT debate related to era Montana vs Brady
Manther replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
My participation in this thread is this. No more comments other than Brady is a wussy who points the fingers, not the thumbs guy. Top 10 QB ever. Takes the praise, gives the blame. Goodell and America wanted the success and drove it. It is like Barry Bonds, you would have possibly and probably have been the best ever without steroids. Why did you do it, ego! Brady could have been the best ever, why cheat over and over again and scream at people for calling you out. Lance Armstrong anyone?! Brady is a clown, who could have been GOAT, but, I don't consider him in the conversation since there are too many asterisks, like Bonds and Armstrong. I wish Brady nothing good. -
What Buffalo Bills draft choice surprised you the most on draft day?

Trading up for Reggie Ragland was extremely disappointing. F Rex Ryan! -

Sorry, could not resist.... Nobody really knows how players will turn out. Read the pre-draft analysis on just about anybody and you might think he's gonna be great. I'll wait on Bernard. When he got on the field, it was due to injury and he wasn't ready. They chose him to develop over time, and it's time now to see him develop. Maybe he'll put on 15 pounds and get taller and become a beast. Biggest surprise for me was probably Whitner. I freaked out. I remember thinking they had the USC QB in their hands, and they surely could've traded down. Nobody really knows how players will turn out. 100% agree! I was doing quite a bit of Draft research those years. My friend and I who also is a huge Bills fan and was doing research at the time......we thought "you gotta Ngata" and then he was there when we picked. Whitner's name was called, we looked at each other and said who? Safety never seemed like a round 1 pick to us, so, we never looked at Safeties. And, we had ZERO idea who he was and got onto the Google machine immediately. This was probably my 2nd WTF after Whitner. This is probably 3rd on my list after Whitner, then TJ Graham. Actually, will move it up on my list since it is a top of the 1st round pick. Whitner Maybin Graham -
Agreed AND less 3 and outs. I didn’t say anything about yards. I said move the ball more consistently.
-
Agreed with all that AND the offense needs to move the ball more consistently. Totally agree with all of that, well said!
-
Seriously, I think I am too. Not sure what I want. But, know I want offense in an offense driven league. I’m on board with that too
-
- new DC - JA17 with no elbow problems and humming along - Dorsey 2nd year - improved OLine - more Avon Miller - Micah Hyde and Poyer healthier - better situational coaching in big games too please All these little things will help. Hopefully a lot!

Bills resigned him before free agency or just as it started.

I’d like to see the Bills bring back Shaq Lawson and pay him fairly.
Manther replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
A good fit for Shaq Lawson and a good fit for the Bills, win, win.
