  1. Interesting thought. A couple more thoughts on that theory... - I don't think he will ever coach again, so... - His pride was more important than another year of pay? - His pride really would have suffered if he was stripped of play calling, stayed and we won the Super Bowl
  2. Meh comment. Last years players had a bunch of injuries. This is apples to oranges. Also, Singletary was not a top player, he was a competing for a starting role and did well in that role and won the starting RB. Based on your top players, it seems to be a combination of the beginning of the year and mid to end of season. Not all of these players were top Bills at one time. I think this is a flawed argument. Including you don't have to cap top players at 5. Some years you may have 3, some 5, some 10. White was not a top player last year from OTA's on. Your thought process is good, but, the comparison is flawed. We have more good, impactful healthy players this year except Von Miller.
  3. For starters, I think Edmunds was good, but, over rated. We will miss him, but, hopefully not much. I liked letting him go after we didn't sign him to a team friendly deal the previous off season. However, this comment makes me think of...
  4. Agreed and excited!
  5. Totally agree! Totally agree!
  6. Agreed, the topic is interesting. Isabella should have nothing to do with the topic specifically. However, Isabella is in camp as are many WR's and if many of them are similar or close to Gabe we could look to trade him before the season. My thoughts on Gabe in no particular order... - he is a good 2/3 WR - if we signed him before the season for $10 million I think it would be a good deal - I don't think he will sign for $10 million a season - the most I would want Gabe for is $12 million - Gabe will probably get $15 million next year, more if he has a better year than last year and he should - if we were high on many of our WRs similar to Gabe I would consider trading him - I would NOT trade him for a 4th - I would prefer to have him for the season than a 4th - probably get a higher comp. pick than a 4th, but, the following year - trade him for a 3rd, possibly - we are looking to win the Super Bowl, I prefer to keep Gabe - Gabe could ball out in a contract year and there are many injuries over the season Go Bills!
  7. I agree with you Hines is an elite returner. Isabella is a on a tryout to be a returner or maybe make the team as a WR on the PS or 6/7th WR. That 6th/7th could possibly return kicks/punts or be a back up if our returner went down. A good player to tryout and potentially step in with injuries.
  8. I didn’t say it did. He is here to try out.
  9. Hines was a RB to return. Isabella is a WR to return. Same roster spot different position, but, same position. Players get hurt too. Great player to hedge bets with.
  10. Physically but not effort wise. But, haha, I get what your joking about. That has nothing to do with effort, it’s just math
  11. I think he will be a good 3/4/5 WR. That would be more than a JAG
  12. Jarvis Landry and Tom Brady Totally, a personal pet peeve in life of mine. There isn't more than 100% and you can't give 110% or more. That cliche bothers me.
  13. Sherfield could be more than a JAG. He was behind some great WRs in Miami last year. If he gets reps I think he will make plays. When he plays his stats are solid.
  14. Wowsers! Thanks for sharing. It must have been a train wreck for the organization to be okay with Payton saying these things. His comments seem to go further than the coaching staff.
  15. Is Beane a wizard. Not sure, but, I lean towards yes. He has great systems on his contracts negotiations and timelines. This leads to being proactive with success. He identifies the important positions to do this with his long term deals. I think the important thing with Beane and his recent long term deals in the last 3-4 was his ability to get in front of Covid and the salary cap impact. He continued to work towards long term goals and contracts. He then had the flexibility & ability (with our Ownerships cash & dedication towards success) to continue to maneuver the salary cap by redoing contracts. I will call Beane a wizard. But, I think it is more that he is consistently above average in all aspects of his job which make him look very, very good overall. Beane's overall above average skills in almost all or all categories makes him great and we are very lucky to have him. Go Bills!
  16. Maybe we will just have a punt catcher
  17. Where would the Chiefs be if Kelce got injured?
  18. Each year on average only 6 teams get into the playoffs that were there the previous year. We have done it 4 years in a row and 5 of 6. I'd say that is extremely impressive and we are better than the 7th team in the AFC until proven otherwise.
  19. Totally agree. I think we have flexible contracts with everyone except Diggs and Von Miller (not including JA17). It is important to hit on draft picks. We can do better. We need more starters and less rotational players in the draft.
  20. That was awesome! Heartfelt, real, genuine. So awesome!
  21. I would not, but, appreciate the thought
