  1. $10 Million the last two years is very solid. It would be the same again if it was not for Star. And, Star's was high because the Covid opt year pushed the contract out a year. Beane structures the contracts excellently.
  2. I agree Hodgins must stay. I think he is way above solid and has a high ceiling. Just thinking, I believe we could get a 2nd round pick for him, 3rd for sure. I still would keep him over a 2nd round pick, I think he is that good. Probably a controversial opinion. But, have never thought about his trade value. The Bills have stashed him nicely for 2 years. Go Bills!
  3. I agree with you both. Rams aren't amazing and the NFC is much weaker including their decision.
  4. So sad and nothing but strong loving thoughts for the Knox family.
  5. That was awesome!
  6. Happy birthday Marv!
  7. Bill, I agree we should have healthy conversation. When the Bills drafted Whitner instead of you "gotta N'Gata" I was confused. At the time, I was into researching the draft aggressively. When the Bill selected Whitner, I said "who". I was not researching Safeties for the 8 slot at the time. I thought it was a 2nd round position.
  8. Well played.....haha, great burner! For real? I think Kumerow is absolutely one of the 7 WR's on the 53 for the reasons you mention.
  9. Agree to disagree. I think he will surprise people this year. Hope so. If not, no worries, we have great depth with playmaking receivers. Whoever, the best 6 or 7 are....we are very strong at this position! I think we take 7 WRs on the 53. Go Bills!
  10. I agree with this. He has been hurt, but, I think the Bills have been stashing him. I expect without an injury he will be on the 53 and get reps.
  11. Njoku is below average in my mind. Dumpster fire STILL in Cleveland!
  12. Ridiculous! At least the Jags were signing FAs. The Browns....WTF. Who is behind the wheel there? I think they should. I think they would like to. "I think" the problem is they don't have the cap space to do so. His 2022 contact is inexpensive and the jump would dig into our cap. I don't think we have the cap space for the guaranteed money, but not sure? I think if we would have we would have. Buffalo and JA believe in him as do I. Know is an odd one because I really think if we could have already it would haven been done. Especially with our efforts investing in him, the results, the capital put into him and upside everyone sees. And, Know wants to be here. I would give him $60 M for 4 years. But, how does that fit into our current cap? Do things change after July 1st? Training camp?
  13. Brady is an ass clown, not watching!
  14. Interesting thought. Beane is ready to weave some magic...
  15. Take your guy, don't get cute. Regarding a trade down, I am not against it. Get your guy before acquiring assets IF you still want your guy. Depends how many WRs are off the board. My guess is many at 25, if so, take him if he is your guy.
  16. Interesting, I don't disagree. Interesting. But, I would not do it. If I was the Jets I would pick at 10 instead of trade for Metcalf #10 plus something and then pay him $20 M a year.
  17. I like it, I agree. This will be the first time the Bills FO have thought one of their elites is on the decline or exceed the market value for age vs position. It is interesting. Regardless of how this plays out, I believe Poyer plays for the Bills this year. The Bills have paid Poyer and both should have mutual respect and appreciation. Poyer's wife is a different story. Poyer will play this year and the Bills will compete for a SB, go Bills!
  18. I like and agree with that.
  19. I also referred to him as Bob Woods most of the time. Bob Woods is F'in crazy! And, awesome, great words from Kupp to Woods! Two professionals at WR when it can have many premadonna's (sp) at the position.
  20. I like the original OP's rankings. I really do. I also don't see KC falling out of the playoffs. But, I don't know how LAC, DEN and KC can all get in while they beat on each other. They would probably all have to 2-2 against each other for all 3 to make the playoffs, could happen. But, agree, MIA has a weak schedule. I hope only 2 of the 3 AFC West teams make the playoffs. I would love to see only one make the playoffs with some luck, injuries, mistakes and bad beats. We really want that #1 AFC seed this year. Go Bills!
  21. Our window is different than the other teams this year. The cap goes up a lot the next 4 years where the cap has been flat the last two. Beane has a plan and we will do very well. We will lose players, but, less than people think. I think we may lose Diggs. See what Edmunds does this year. We front load our contracts, so, we "should" always have room to make moves. The dead cap money would took this year for next is peanuts with the cap increase coming. We probably would have extended Know this year, but, we didn't have the cap space since his cap hit this year is only $2 M. If he plays well next year we will have to pay a pretty penny for him. Beane knows it and can get it done if he wants to next off season. We are set up for success. As said above, GB drafted poorly. KC did draft well and took a great hall for Hill at the right time. KC good, GB bad. GB messed up Rodgers contract over the last 4 years and drafting Love. Dallas is Dallas. Bad choices and over paying the wrong players and positions. Bad coaching in their open window years too. Go Bills! As long as we have Allen and Beane we will be successful every year with a chance to win the SB.
  22. Makes sense, I don't disagree. That would be ideal for them to bring stability.
  23. Tyrod was traded for the first pick in the 3rd round. Schoen was familiar with Tyrod? No? The OP's point is solid, the New York Football Giants are following the same blue print Beane, Schoen and McD used. Tear it down, fix the cap, bring in fringe players they are familiar with to help build a culture while they build their team while the acquire assets. In 5 years will any of these fringe players be on the team, probably not. Maybe Antonio Williams IF he played a different position than RB (with the positions short life span in the NFL). Marlowe hung around with us for a while and exceeded expectations. I was a fan of his and what he brought as the 3rd safety. I will be following the Giants closer now. I am excited to see what they continue to do. I think Schoen will succeed. I do not think Daboll will. He may, but, I guess 3 and out. I will give Daboll credit that he learned and continued to improve each off season and grow with the Bills. If he can continue to do that he will succeed. I think as a HC nobody will be there to check his ego and he ultimately will not move the needle. In 3 years, they let Daboll go and the New York Football Giants will be an extremely desirable HC position with a team built for the long term. Missing a couple key positions.
  24. I think you are right. I think they will trade back and continue to acquire assets. I think Barkley will be traded at some point too. I hope so. He has skills and with an opportunity he MAY be able to take advantage of it.
