Updated scenario for scheduling to be voted on Friday
Manther replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. They should have the #3 seed as they deserve it based on merit AND then throw in the ultimate sportsmanship and unselfishness they have shown. It is not right. -

So be it. The Patriots have 2-3 asterisks and we did nothing wrong, the Pats ** did. -

That is a valid point. That point alone should settle it and keep in consistent. -
Thanks for the update. I thought so originally and someone else on here suggested he was on the PS and i just took the word.

The Bengals did get the short end of the stick. But, we can all cheer for them against Baltimore! -

We have spoken about dressing rooms on the road in the NFL being inferior and outdated quite a bit this season at Two Bills Drive. A newer facility with two quality dressing rooms would be fair and important. Here are the dates the options for stadiums opened... Atlanta - 2017 Dallas - 2009 Indy - 2008 New Orleans - 1975 (Hurricane Katrina was 2005 - stadium was probably repaired and possibly upgraded) -
I think Peterman is on the Bears roster for just such an occasion.

The pick 6's will more than cover those 3 points.

I think Rhodes will go to the PS or at least stay local for now.

Sean McDermott should be Coach of the Year
Manther replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott has risen through adversity over and over and over again. Knox's brother passing in preseason, more than an average amount of injuries, the Miami heat game, the blizzard and relocated game, 3 losses all 3 points or less, Cinci and Damar game. The way he led this team through everything is extremely impressive. Many coaches could be considered. I think McD deserves it this year! He really earned it! -
Agreed on the swelling. I tore both my ACL's in separate hockey seasons. The first time it was ACL, MCL and meniscus with a lot of swelling. I waited 3 weeks for surgery. The 2nd time and other knee was just ACL with little swelling and surgery was in a week.

Mayden was on the Jets Practice Squad. So, he needed to be signed to the 53. Marlowe is on the Practice Squad (I think even though we traded for him) and IMO will most likely be called up before the next game.

19 Class of 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalists announced

Agree on Joe Thomas and Jared Allen. Revis agree. Willis was too short a career at 8 years. He was top LB for maybe 3 of those years. Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne. Hmmm. Reggie Wayne I think so and possibly Andre Johnson. If I had to pick I would say Thomas, Allen, Revis, Wayne and not sure on the other this year. -
Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.
Manther replied to Locomark's topic in The Stadium Wall
Another mistake by the NFL was having Titans/Jags flexed to Saturday and Packers/Lions flexed to Sunday night. The purpose of flexing games was to make sure teams didn't know playoff implications prior to their games. Titans/Jags only impact each other (with the exception of 3 teams losing) and should have been flexed to Sunday night. Instead they have Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at Lambeau vs the Lions Sunday night. Seattle should be playing at the same time as GB/Det. Seattle Seahawks play before GB/Det. Playoff implications are... GB wins they are in Seattle wins and Detroit wins, Seattle is in Seattle loses and Detroit wins, Detroit is in So, if Seattle wins before the game Detroit has already been eliminated. I think Detroit will still try hard, but, maybe not. Not really fair to Seattle (by winning) to potentially demotivate Detroit to beat GB and lower their possibility of getting into the playoffs. -
Well said, too tough to follow, so I skipped the original post.

Completely agree. When picking late in the first round you have the ability to get a top 2 prospect at certain positions. Those positions tend to be... C G TE RB CB - zone S I personally love the value of C or C/G late in the first. I think you get a top notch S in certain drafts there as well. But, think we need to go C or C/G in this draft. I can see the argument for WR as well.

I agree with all of this. I also think we could retain Poyer for 3 years at $10 million a year. If it is a little more, so be it. If we win the Championship, Poyer is a HUGE part of that, let's pay him. I don't think paying players for past performance is a good thing or the right thing to do. But, Poyer has great years left in the tank and has been special since he got here starting this whole rebuild with McD!

He has been absolutely outstanding! He's been very good since he got to Buffalo and great for at least 3 years and this year he has been absolutely outstanding!
