You don’t have an offense in place for any Qb on this roster to do anything with. You think we’re a playoff team w Andersen in the game cmon. There’s no better way to learn than to play. Running the scout team for opposing team looks and little to no first team reps isn’t the way to get him up to snuff. If you have a legit starter on your team like Rodgers w Favre or Garoppolo w Brady ok, we don’t, so develop the kid on the field

It’s not gonna be night and day growth from one game to the next where he turns into Montana. You can’t say he isn’t getting better, his exposure and experience against different defenses and looks is the knowledge he needs. He might be calling things out at the line and seeing his protections better each game. There are things we might not be able to see watching on tv. Let the kid have his year to learn. Jesus Christ.

Almost every GM in football drafts for potential and ceiling. Allen is nowhere close to where he’ll be. You can teach accuracy to a point, by correcting mechanics. Woods was offered a contract. He was a priority. He did not want to play here, but rather wanted to go home to LA. Please stop saying the Bills let him go. I get what you’re saying and my expectations are not at the playoff level, but that being said, it sounds like you don’t even want to try and win. I’m def not on board in giving up a high pick for somebody but I’m not against bringing in a player like Maclin that costs us nothing and will be close to the vet minimum, maybe a couple million a year. Will you feel different if this team is around the 6-6 mark?

I don’t think it matters as far as judging Allen like you said, but it matters if you have winnable games that you don’t win bc dudes can’t catch.
