Cody Ford fined over 28k for illegal blind side block
Codyny13 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This drives me bizerk...if were going by the letter of the law we scored a TD on that kickoff. You can’t enforce rules when you choose. Go by the book or dont -
Singletary is our feature back. Not paying big money to the RB position.

Oh man, the well is running dry. When does free agency start?

Not sure, I saw this broken down recently. I think maybe it was about $20k for the wc

Is Tre White worth top corner money?

Should season ticket holders protest?
Codyny13 replied to Rocbillsfan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s a weird situation. They went against the rule book, so I guess it should be a TD. I’m sure it would probably never happened again had they enforced it, and although they’re cheap points...that’s not our fault, the dude made a mental error. That being said, the games over, nothing is going to change. -
1. Biggest need this off-season is for Josh Allen to take another step. Situational awareness, and ball security at the top of the list. 2. DE. Jerry stepped up in the playoff game and he was recently extended so he’s here to stay. Shaq is a free agent and has no guarantee to return. Trent is solid rotational piece but not at his current cap hit. I’m okay keeping him, but maybe with a restructure where they add a year. I would certainly kick the tires on Ngakoue, or however you spell it. Him on this defense could be scary. Could be a high pick here. 3. WR. John Brown is a stud. He showed his worth, and his ability to run routes and sure hands. I’d like a big, fast receiver who draws a #1 corner away from Brown. 4. OLB. Don’t underestimate what Zo brought to the lb’er room as well as the field. I’d like a veteran here, as the two other starters are still on the young side. Another athlete here can turn this into the best linebacker Corp in the afc. 5. CB. I do believe Levi can do the job. I also think Kevin Johnson is pretty good. That being said, I believe they’re both best suited as the teams #3 cb in nickel and dime packages. 6. OL. Spain is a free agent and no guarantee to return. Feliciano is now on a 1 year contract, and we don’t know where Ford ends up. I could put this at 5 but I think cb is a more important position than guard, which is where I think a hole might end up.

When he was linked to the Bills earlier this year he said he’d love to play in front of the Bills fans.

Not surprising. It can get pretty insufferable here after a loss. I’m baffled by many things I see written here. I have a heavy bag hangin in the garage, I curse and beat that thing when games like this happen, or beat the couch ?. My wife had a cpl girlfriends over last night, they didn’t know what was happening lol, I lost it, but it helps to get it out instead of being irrational in your feelings here.

2019 Re-Draft: Cody Ford vs DK Metcalf
Codyny13 replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The draft can be a crap shoot, news flash, guys on other teams turn out to be good players. ??♂️ -
I’m okay with giving Ford more time at RT, I don’t want to give up on him that quickly, I thought he got better. That being said, Feliciano is going into his final year on his contract so you’re going to need at least another guard.
-
We always hear how important it is for the offensive line to play together. I don’t know about the right side but I’d be happy to keep the LT, LG, and C intact. We’ll see what happens with Ford, and his position, although I thought he got much better at tackle toward the end of the season. A good off season learning and better understanding the position might go a long way. Too often us as fans want to move on immediately if there isn’t success right off the bat. It doesn’t always click right away for some of these kids.

If I’m the Bills I’d extend him this year. Most of the PREMIER strong safety’s that are coming to market this year have been 1st round picks with the 5th year option being placed on them, or at least the good ones for 4 years. So those guys coming to market are already around 27. Poyer is a very good safety, who knows this defense backward and forward and knows how to play off the other guys. I don’t see any reason financially or from a sporting point of view to move on. -

I don’t think anybody really knows what we have in those kids. -
I don’t understand why the Bills won’t offer him a multi year extension? He played well, played 100% of the snaps, didn’t give up a sack on the year and told his agent today that if the Bills want him, he’d like to resign before free agency.

Poyer is vastly undervalued, that being said they did this year. Jaquan Johnson and Siran Neal. -

How come Spain won’t resign?
