Agree. Our DE position needs impact players and depth and why search for maybe players when you have Shaq who can step in... Johnson is raw still and is a liability in run defense, but i think he will come on given more experience. Allows this staff to start looking for Lorax V.2 as he can't keep going forever.

Don't get me wrong, but I don't see Shaq as an impact player just yet. His two sacks were more the result of him going untouched. To me, he just seems a step slow and not very explosive. I think we re-sign him as he is a good overall DE. Pay less than the option year money.  Draft an edge rusher, pay but don't overpay Phillips. $7-8MM sign, more let him go.. I think some of these guys might actually prefer to stay depending on how the rest of the year goes. Need to win at least two games.

  2. OL may not have got much push and Morse got blown up on at least one play, but there was opportunity for a better RB to gain a yard on the short yardage runs. Gore has lost a step and did not hit the line very well. I thought the plays called also developed slowly. Josh sneaks worked well. Also, Bills had 1st and goal from around the 4 and we tried to throw or gadget early. Ended with FG. Only after that disaster series did Daboll become single minded to run. They have to start getting better to beat the better teams. I could see a few losses coming up if they don't.

Augie you may be technically correct but de facto wrong. Although there is no state real estate tax the tax is collected by the counties. And the rates are some of the highest in the country. The average rates charged by the counties put them as the 13th highest in the country.

As most people know Texas does not have an income tax. However, there are sales taxes, local taxes and user taxes such as toll roads. Texas has one of the highest rate of toll roads in the country. In the end you pay either directly or indirectly. There is no free ride.

If you sell your house you no longer pay property tax.....right?

Doesn't anyone besides me realize how close we came to losing to the Jets?

Doesn't anyone besides me think we WOULD have lost to the Jets if their MLB didn't get hurt?

I don't think there's any reason to think Darnold won't be a very good QB.  No QB can play well behind a bad O line and with a bad offensive game plan, and most QBs will have a tough time against the Bills D.

But, with Darnold out for a month or so, I agree the season looks grim for the Jets.  I've been in that place myself with quite a few Bills teams.

FWIW, I googled 2-0 contenders or pretenders to see what people were saying about the Bills.  I happened to get linked to a 2018 article.  Guess which AFCE team was 2-0 last year.  Miami.  So it is possible to collapse really really fast, if you have the right coach.

Debbie downer.... Home opener for Jets and Giants. 2 wins! Bills 3-0 and get the Pats at home. Doesn't get any better than this!

Buffalo needs to get over the lunch pail, Blue collar mindset. A guy like AB would do wonders for their receiving core.

Well he should be available. Only the Raiders could find a way to bring this nut job back into the fold. Guy may really have a screw loose and LOL - avoids Buffalo and still gets frostbite! Too much irony to believe! Helmet diva, issues in Pittsburgh, now physically strikes the GM! Thank baby Jesus that he did not become a Buffalo Bill.

Should be out of football and needs to seek medical help.
