Nathan Peterman to Start this Week.

PeterMan, PeterMan, does whatever a PeterMan does. Throws the ball down the field, trusts his eyes and let's it fly. Look out, he comes the PeterMan! -

Rex comes in and changes to a D that doesn't fit our personnel. The Carolina good ol' boys arrive and do the same with the offense. Results are the same. I want to send OBD a copy of a book on Situational Leadership where leaders adjust their style to the needs of the employee and the situation. I think there are similarities and potential learnings. -

It really can't be much worse than the TT led offense we saw the last two weeks. Hopefully the line blocks for the kid and he has the chance to throw the ball downfield. I'm hoping he has a good day in CA. -
I think that is what they did and the Bills still couldn't stop the run. TT could have been the QB and against our 8 man fronts, the Saints ran with impunity. This was the n=big excuse for our line not being able to run against 8 in the box. 24 straight runs daring us to stop the run and we couldn't. Very sad.

Gameday Thread Bills vs Saints 2nd Half

We can, if Peterman can play both ways...maybe at LB? -
I'm excited!

We need to run the ball effectively and win the battle in the trenches on both sides of the line. Keep DB off the field as much as possible and pressure him when he is. Run, stop the run. Seems like a tall order after watching the game last week. -
Re-Sign Jordan Matthews?
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't completely disagree with your premise, but we all used to harp on TT because he didn't use his TE enough. When all the talent left Buffalo at WR, the plan was to get Shady more involved in the pas game. So now he is using both and we're not happy he isn't using his WRs more? I'd also like to see him with a little more time to throw before his pocket completely collapses. With decent protection, WRs may become an option again. Especially KB. TT willl need to trust KB to make plays even if he isn't wide open. -
Did the defense quit on Coach Thursday?
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't look like quitting to me so much as having a lack of intensity and desire to hit people. Too much clutch and grab and trying to punch or strip the ball out. Short week, road game, poor preparation may have played a role? Gotta beat the Saints. Bring it!! -
Saints Fan Stopping By

No, no, no. We have a dome here now. Downtown. 72 degrees @ kickoff guaranteed! Your boys should have no problems throwing deep and running at will. Y'all should sleep in and arrive to the game late. Have fun! -
If he fails to develop, then yes he was over drafted. He is very stout against the run and a solid contributor on DL. I wouldn't blame him for the lack of a pass rush overall. Our DTs get zero push and Hughes disappears for large chunks of the game. LBs, when they blitz, are worthless. Safeties are too far off the ball to really contribute. More stunts/twists may help the front four generate better pressure.

Predicting the rest of the schedule
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think to make the playoffs, we need to win the games you listed, but also need to beat the Pats at home. -
I really agree! That said, I would encourage TT to run more and set him up by spreading out the offense and the gaps between lineman while letting him start in the SG. If we aren't or can't block effectively, let's use his and Shady's strengths of making people miss. Run pass options. Roll him out and let him look deep or mid and then run or hit short route when coverage moves off to stop his run freeing up the back or TE. Anything but sitting in a porous pocket and getting killed.

Tyrod is a franchise QB

http://www.businessinsider.com/nfl-qb-power-rankings-week-9-2017-10 Here this should help. I think he is middle of the pack a bit better but this is close. -
For the NFL, Jones is a polished wideout who should be able to compete quickly. He has good hands and is very reliable to secure the ball. Additioanlly, he has very good technique to snatch the ball out of the air with his hands and secure it. There is no doubt that Jones is a quality route-runner and doesn't have wasted steps or get sloppy with his body control. Jones has a quick release off the line and is sudden in and out of his breaks. Because of that, Jones is dependable to generate separation and get open for his quarterback. Jones is quick and uses his size well in the open field to get yards after the catch, too. He is also very good at tracking the ball and has late hands to reel the ball in. While Jones isn't a burner, he is a threat to challenge teams over the top with his quickness and ability to make difficult catches. This is who we got, give him time and he will be an excellent #2 WR. I think Matthews is a rental and KB/ZJ will be our tandem going forward.

Except on most of the sacks he didn't even have time to do that. This is not a game to bash TT after. I am not a huge fan, but to evaluate his ability to play in a dumpster fire game is unfair. -
Tyrod Played Vary Well Last Night
Bills Fan of St Augustine replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed - we will continue to have a chance to win against teams with average or below average D lines. When we face off against a large athletic and aggressive defense we will not be able to run the ball and the QB will need a foxhole just to survive. A top five QB would be wonderful to have, but without an above average physically gifted O line, we will not be an elite team. You are only as strong on the line as your weakest link and ours has several brittle links. The OL must get addressed asap. Dawkins, Grohn and/or Miller should be in the starting line up. One of the worst rated OLs in football. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/10/12/bills-pro-football-focus-cordy-glenn-richie-incognito-tyrod-taylor-dion-dawkins/
