All of the following is an attempt to understand your position in full so that we can have a conversation, not a debate: What actions were illegal and worthy of impeachment, in your mind? Please be specific. There's no standard for admission here. In fact, many of the people you (likely) suspect of being Trump supporters aren't. I didn't vote for Trump. I'm not a conservative nor a republican. And, like you, I think both sides are guilty as sin and in fact, the partisan divide is nothing but a distraction designed to pit us against each other rather than holding the truly guilty parties responsible. There's nothing wrong with having a different opinion, it's encouraged. It's how we learn from one another. The only thing people have objected to is your (so far -- but it's changing with this post and I thank you for it) throwing bombs then running away when challenged about their validity. Do you believe that Trump is the one who put our democracy into crisis mode in just three years, that it was working perfectly, without bipartisan bickering before Trump came to power?

I'm really not trying to be hostile, or pedantic -- but how is our country in "crisis mode"? The economy is booming, unemployment is low, we have the first administration in 3 not to start a new war... what's the crisis? Genuinely curious as to your opinion.

You’re a Bills fan. My heart stays with my brethren. But I don’t care if you believe me, because it’s not about believe. It’s factual and backed up by mountains of evidence which has been purposely hidden from you by the media, Congress, and political pundits for three years. What astounds me is that someone who thinks they know what’s happening can run so quickly away from information that counters their opinion. A smart person would want to hear it, if only to dismiss it. A broken person runs from it because the cognitive dissonance is too painful. You’ve shown you’d rather run than learn.

@Margarita Look at the history: They lied to the world about wmd in Iraq, and cost us trillions in treasure, and cost us thousands of our soldiers — not to mention the instability it caused and the hundreds of thousands of civilians killed. They lied to the country about mass surveillance, promising we weren’t being surveilled. They lied to Congress, the media, and people for years — doing untold damage to the 4th amendment. Those same people - not the same agencies, the same PEOPLE — lied for three years about Trump/Russia. They subverted the rule of law, weaponized the Intel collection tools, in order to spy and silence their political opposition. Why? Because 45 wanted to hold them accountable for their record of lying. So I ask, how could you — a sane person of intelligence — take them at their word today without doing the due diligence yourself? Do you think these people deserve a third and fourth chance?

I care about people in general and the truth specifically. Educating people to what’s actually happening is important work if we truly want to make the country a better place. You don’t even want to engage with the subject. You’ve made up your mind that what I said last night was “nuts” despite me being able to prove every word of it — while you cannot prove your position at all. Why does that kind of ignorance appeal to you? Just because you don’t like Trump? Is your hatred of a man worth subverting the entire rule of law and our republic itself? Asking honestly.

You are guilty of what you accused others of doing. Full stop. This isn’t about proving yourself to strangers, it’s about truth. You’ve made it clear you’d rather have your “truth” told to you by proven liars and manipulators rather than thinking for yourself. And, rather than just staying quiet and acknowledging you’re nothing more than a poorly programmed NPC, you come in accusing others of what you yourself are guilty of. That makes you real easy to dismiss and ignore.

Bob, answer me this: what did trump do specifically to warrant this impeachment? Be specific. You literally accused people of not believing facts and being in a cult — then when presented with facts you scoff and disbelieve them. You don’t have to respond of course, but if you value your name, then a move like that demands that you respond. ***** Raskin just now: “The score is Rudy 4, Mr. Schiff zero.”

I remember as well. It is known. It’s why he changed screen names — to run from it. He’s a liar, he proves it daily. Pay him no mind because not only does he not have one of his own, he doesn’t deserve your attention. (easier to say, I know )

Another thing to add to your timetable -- they timed it perfectly in terms of Amazon putting up the page for the book's pre-sales. Almost to the hour. "I asked you to spoon feed me the information because thinking for myself was too hard." Only a stoned person would take someone's advice to think for yourself as being the advice of a pompous prick.

Yup. And note there has yet to be one quote of the book itself. Just speculation and re-reporting of the NYT article itself. And the speculations about what the book says actually helps Trump's overall case rather than damages it. But some people are too busy with their heads in the sand to have any idea of what's actually happening.

Spot on. It's an attempt to accuse Trump of being guilty of exactly what they did themselves in 2016. It's an attempt to get ahead of Barr and Durham. It won't work.

He asked you to think for yourself. You refused. Because you're incapable of it. That's all that happened. The fact it upsets you should cause you to question why... but you won't, because even that requires you to think for yourself.
