  1. I think McDermott sold him on the idea this team could make the playoffs. Once Pegula discovers that isn't possible I think his love for Sean could turn ugly quickly.
  2. I think you are right on. And when it appears the Bills won't get one of the top QB's people will point out that 2019 might be a better year. This whole thread assumes the defensive coach has an interest in drafting and developing a QB, a pretty big leap of faith. I'm on the I won't believe it till I see it camp now.
  3. It would be nice to have people with critical thinking skills dominate but I understand that those with no critical thinking skills will want to participate. My issue with this type is their constant bullying of the people who bring more to the table.
  4. We should create a thread for those who wish Two Bills Drive to operate as a cyber North Korea. There they can eternally clap for Dear Leaders Terry and Kim Pegula, God's Appointed Representatives on Earth, along with all people that Terry and Kim deem good enough to work for them. All cheering for Terry and Kim's employees will end once Terry and Kim terminate their employment for the Bills. Then they will be regarded as totally incompetent as well as evil. If you can hold all these ideas in your head at once at the same time, congratulations. You are a pusher of Dear Leaders and Their 2 Year Plans.
  5. We don't need comp picks. We have a process that starts with one and then we earn the right to win.
  6. That's how it works. It's a take it or leave it proposition. But the idea that Whaley couldn't work with Rex then forces one to wonder why Whaley wasn't fired with Rex.
  7. What has happened is that the smartest people near Jerry convince Jerry that their ideas are his ideas. It makes everything work much smoother.
  8. Sean The Wrestler shouting stuff? Yeah, thanks Russ. I'm all in. What the hell does "It starts with one" actually mean? Sounds like corporate BS.
  9. Good. Honesty is the best policy.
  10. Well, that happened anyway except the GM was a coach with no front office experience.
  11. What matters is not the class but the QB YOU can acquire. Should Raiders have passed on Derek Carr because it was a bad class? How does Mariotta or Winston help them the next year if they don't have a top 2 pick?
  12. Kansas City called everyone trying to get in the top 5. The first team that would let them move up from 27 was the Bills. Sorry, you are spinning hard now.
  13. Browns- They always pass on QB's now. They have adopted the Bills approach Bears-They took a QB 49ers-They might have Cousins coming for free or a chance at top 3 pick next year Jaguars-They have a QB they took top 3 they decided to try to rehab Jets-Coach on hot seat, possible top 3 pick next year Chargers-Rivers still playing Reported that Chiefs tried to trade into top 5 for Mahomes, Giants upset, Saints would have taken him, and Cardinals probably would have as well. Sean Payton, John Gruden, Andy Reid, and Bruce Arians liking a certain QB a much better endorsement. I think those guys know a few more things than Sean about QB play.
  14. Gunner, many people on here believe in Tyrod Taylor so they have no interest in drafting one. That fans think that doesn't worry me. The defensive coach they hired might think the same way, a scary thought.
  15. And Bills tried to trade up to get him and failed. That was 13 years ago.
  16. I do give you credit for calling the Ragland trade up for what it was, pure stupidity.
  17. And he only has one girl in the hot tub. Go big or go home. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2015/10/23/9604662/ucla-hot-tub-josh-rosen-damn-you-college-kids
  18. I have heard he is mentally fragile. Incredible arm talent. But very much hates getting hit. If you draft him for your NFL team you better have an elite NFL line because he takes a few hits he will give up.
  19. The new GM's primary role would not be in setting up a board which was basically done. It would have been to sit down with the coach and work out a plan to win the Buffalo Bills a Superbowl based on short, medium, and long term time horizons.
  20. Yes, but I hate draft analysis where you can use hindsight to find the best players. It makes every GM look bad. I think you can attack poor decision making but it needs to be within reason.
  21. No, I think he decided to fill needs and used the Bills board as a guide. It's also possible that the next GM for the Bills was also providing him draft analysis.
  22. You are mixing and matching. The Bills board was already close to set up by January 2017. Bills should have brought in a real GM to run the draft.
  23. Evans was taken before the original Bills pick.
  24. You are welcome to believe the Russ Brandon types more, if you like.
