Bucky Brooks has Bitonio going very early in the 2nd round, maybe even pick #33. But, what exactly is this? Is there a link to go to...or do we just pick our mocks and put them here?
-
I really like DE Scott Crichton and CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste...but they will go higher than we can afford to take them. Does anybody know how many of our visitors we have actually drafted in the last couple years? I'd like to see how that relates.
-
Not sure where it went...but here is an actual link for the mock. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000341602/article/mock-draft-50-jadeveon-clowney-aj-mccarron-to-texans 9. Buffalo Bills: Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA The Bills could elect to take a talented tight end to help E.J. Manuel, but the defense could use a versatile SAM linebacker/pass rusher to complement Mario Williams and Jerry Hughes off the edges. 41. Buffalo Bills: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington To help E.J. Manuel become more efficient in the pocket, the Bills could add a big-bodied tight end with Rob Gronkowski-like skills to the line up. *If the Patriots end up with Rashede Hageman, I will be pretty pissed...he's going to be a beast.

If you can get me my favorite WR AND TE, outside the 1st round...do whatever the hell you want in the 1st round. This would potentially be the best first 3 rounds of a draft we have had in a very long time, if ever. (I'd poop my knickers and do back-flips!) 3 DE's, 1 DT, 1 RB and 1 OT? Doug Whaley should be fired if this is what he does.

Marcel Dareus - 5th year option by May 3
Bob Malooga replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Meh, I think he is more the Nick Fairley of his defense...the Bills do not have a D-lineman the caliber of the boy named Suh. -
Are you serious? http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/167048-ltrt-mathews-or-te-ebron-in-r1/ Enough with this absurd crusade you are on...it's really foolish.

So, Eric Wood is a really nice guy...
Bob Malooga replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 questions... 1. Where do I send something for him to autograph? 2. Does he realize he put some people's phone numbers out all across twitter? As for the request, at least he is unique...who else in the world has an Eric Wood autographed jockstrap? lmao. -
Denver press - lazy journalism
Bob Malooga replied to Thirdborn's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whether the OP was correct or not, journalism in the media today is, without question, a joke. ESPN, NFL.com, WGR, Mike Florio, etc...so many of them are horrible at writing, especially spelling and grammar. It is kind of hard to imagine they do not edit their work, right? It's nothing to be pissed about, but it is really frustrating to know people get paid for that garbage. It is certainly one job where educated sports fans should be able to land a gig without a college education, but you can't. -
LT/RT Mathews or TE Ebron in R1??
Bob Malooga replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also want to add... For those of you pounding the table for a RT in the top-10 this year...DO NOT BE MAD at Cordy Glenn when he realizes he was screwed and decides he does not want to renew his contract as a RT with the Bills, instead deciding to go to free agency as soon as he can, as a LT. If he doesn't request a trade before then...most likely as soon as the Bills draft Matthews or Lewan. -
LT/RT Mathews or TE Ebron in R1??
Bob Malooga replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK, I should have mentioned earlier...THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I AGREE TO IT. But, you have to guarantee me that Austin Seferian-Jenkins is there in round #2, and promise me he is the Bills pick. If they did that, then by all means...take whomever you want in round #1, within reason. (Although I'd still rather get a WR or LB in the first round.) Let me clarify something...Austin Seferian Jenkins is someone I have wanted for 2 years now, and I THINK I would rather have him over Eric Ebron. So, with that said...I was not defending Ebron earlier as MY pick, just that I would rather have a TE like him over a RT in the top-10. Hope that clears it up! -
Yup, yup...and I feel the same about Manziel...a RT in the top-10 or Manziel, and I am about at my breaking point with this team. At this point, I would be hoping for a new owner who will completely clean house and get credible candidates in football positions. They have until the end of May to prove me wrong and keep their jobs (in my opinion), when the team is sold. (Not saying the team will be sold by the end of May, but I'm saying they better do something exciting with this draft...they are fighting for their jobs.)

Some observations about potential new ownership
Bob Malooga replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe it has been mentioned already here, but if not, it needs to be... I'm pretty sure that none of the current NFL owners were in their current positions when Donald Trump tried to take over, or kill, the NFL way back when. He would absolutely get a lot of support from the owners, if he submitted a bid...he is one hell of a businessman. -
Better Draft Day (s) coverage: ESPN or NFLN?
Bob Malooga replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFL Network by a long shot. They actually have people who know football and are not just there for show. Mike Mayock and Charles Davis actually know what they are talking about, compared to Mel Kiper and Todd McShay. I used to have ESPN on 24/7, I watched EVERY show on that channel and followed it religiously...I never watch it anymore, ever. Nor do I read any articles put out by ESPN.com and their pathetic, amateur writers. It's terrible...especially that Rodak guy. -
I like Barden's potential as not only a WR, but also a TE/H-Back...much rather keep him over Chris Hogan. Same with Elliott, who it's obvious they like him...as they kept him on IR all year, stashed away, and didn't buy him out/release him. I just don't see where keeping a WR because of his special teams abilities, rather than his WR abilities, is a good idea. Just because Easley or Hogan are better than Elliott or Barden on ST's, doesn't mean that is who they should keep...especially if the latter two are better WR's. You can coach someone to run down the field and tackle a kick returner...you cannot coach WR intangibles. As for the draft...I don't see Watkins, Evans or Benjamin being a Buffalo Bills draftee...although I want Evans or Benjamin. It's more likely they go for a Latimer, Coleman, or another bigger WR in the 3rd or 4th rounds. (Which I am ok with, IF they get the TE early.)

BPA vs. Need in a deep draft.
Bob Malooga replied to Armchair GM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not be surprised if Scott Crichton is one of our draft picks in the 3rd-4th rounds. He seems like a blue-collar, Marrone/Schwartz type of guy...reminds me of Aaron Schobel to be honest, he's "country strong." Watch the play at .55 seconds, not sure this kid is even around in the 3rd or 4th...he's a beast, plays a solid all-around game. * Turn down your volume, I know some will despise the music...although the video has zero to do with music! :-p -
Bills Release DE Kourtnei Brown; Claimed by Detroit
Bob Malooga replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like his Detroit defense had really small DE's and LB's...which I do not like. He seems like the kind of coach who would love a Keith Ellison. He played Ronnell Lewis at DE and he is 6-2, 240 lbs. A perfect example of this would have been him drafting Doug Hogue (6-2, 235) in the 5th round of the 2011 draft. His LB's back in 2012 were Stephen Tulloch (5-11, 230), Deandre Levy (6-2, 230), Justin Durant (6-3, 230), Ashlee Palmer (6-1, 223) and Travis Lewis (6-1, 246)...some DE's were Willie Young (6-5, 251), Lawrence Jackson (6-5, 261), and Cliff Avril (6-3, 252). So, looking at that...I think two things... 1.) Are these really the size of players that will hold up in our division and the kind of game we want to play? 2.) If he got any success out of those guys...why can't a Manny Lawson be a DE in his scheme? He has the size of Young, Avril, etc. Just a couple things that I got thinking about when looking at the players he drafted and used in his scheme...I don't like the fit. -
Terrance West RB Towson
Bob Malooga replied to Hazed and Amuzed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would certainly have to disagree with these 2 from what I saw in that video. He seems like he has no issue being a violent runner, trucking over defenders. (1:45-1:52 is a great example.) And I already pointed out picking up a blitz very well and laying the defender out on his back. (.42-.46 is a good example.) Obviously one video is a small sample size to make a correct evaluation of the kid...but he already shows he has some of those traits, as well as many others that cannot be coached into a player. As long as he is opening to coaching/correcting mistakes, I see no reason he cannot find success in the NFL. -
Brandon Spikes Predicting two W's against Pats
Bob Malooga replied to Stevie Ray's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Don't listen or follow him. I am ecstatic we finally have someone on this team who has a set of brass knuckles for balls...attitudes like this spread like wildfire in a locker room. The Buffalo Bills have lacked this type of "swagger" for a very long time...I have no doubts it will show up on the field. This is how I want my team to be built...with FOOTBALL PLAYERS who swing big d***s and talk big s**t...then back it up on the field! We FINALLY have a Bryan Cox type of player, and I couldn't be more happy about it...CHEERS to becoming relevant again! (As for the "slavery" comments, I think people are looking at that in the wrong context...look at where he just left, that speaks volumes! Bad ol' Bill and Mr. Kraft seem to treat their players like "slaves," and not human beings and/or employees...is how I took that comment.) -
Terrance West RB Towson
Bob Malooga replied to Hazed and Amuzed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He reminds me of another small-school RB the Bills took a chance on, who was just rewarded with a new contract. Joique Bell (5-11, 220 lbs., 4.68 forty yard dash) http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/joique-bell?id=497145 Terrance West (5-9, 225 lbs., 4.54 forty yard dash) http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/terrance-west?id=2543664 I like him, and would love for the Bills to take a shot at him in the mid-rounds...we could certainly use another young RB. *Also, he may have had a hard time staying between the tackles because of the skill (or lack thereof) of his blockers. Given better holes and timing in the NFL, may allow him to be a better north-south runner than he was in college. Just a thought. *One more thought after actually watching that highlight reel...watch him pick up that blitz/block at .45 seconds! WOW, PANCAKE! -
Poor work ethic? Bruce Smith. Lots of sacks? Jerry Hughes in the last year of his contract. Mario is due $20 mill next year. Fake injuries? Mario Williams and Jairus Byrd. Speeding tickets? You have got to be kidding me, right? That's the biggest joke I have ever heard...just another person who doesn't want football players on his favorite team, he wants the guys from his church's choir. Kiko had worse than speeding tickets, he turned out fine. Mario did too, if I recall correctly.

What about a trade with Chicago?
Bob Malooga replied to Chi-town Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we drop all the way down to #30 and select an OG, I would puke. lol. I really doubt ASJ is available in the 3rd, or that Latimer is available in the 5th...didn't he just have an amazing pro-day? -
Watkins and Evans wont be there at 9
Bob Malooga replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't see Oakland taking Mike Evans at #9...they have way too many other needs to take a WR that early, especially with how deep this WR class is. I can see them going after a Donte Moncrief or Cody Latimer later on...or, I could see them taking Ebron actually. Either way, I see no reason for the Bills to trade UP this year...if anything, trade down...this draft class is stocked with talent. -
DeSean Jackson released
Bob Malooga replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Desean Jackson does NOT fit in Buffalo...can we please drop that idea, already? I'd rather develop Woods and Goodwin, than sign Jackson. As for Britt, his most logical landing spot is St. Louis with the head coach who drafted him...their GM says it's 50/50 they sign Kenny Britt. If I have to pick one, I'd pick Britt...but if I have to sign a WR with knee issues, I might just take a look at Danario Alexander...bigger/faster/cheaper than Britt. (I also don't think D-Jax leaves D.C. without a contract...get to play with RG3, in the NFC East against Philly? He will sign in Washington.) -
No Evans, No Watkins in our future...
Bob Malooga replied to Spillnation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ramses Barden? lmao. Yeah, and Ronnie Wingo is the next Eric Dickerson. With all due respect, I highly disagree. With a top-5 running game and a top-10 defense, we should be in the playoffs. It all comes down to QB play, if Manuel plays well this year, and the defense matches last year...the Bills will be in the playoffs. Get him a security blanket, and watch how he develops...I do think the RIGHT player, will propel this team into contention for a wild card spot.
