  1. I hope for the same. I do have concerns about the players that are out today. Hopefully we will keep rolling, but this could be a trap game. Glad it's in Buffalo...
  2. I agree here. We need to win a few more games before I'm sold on us being a top AFC team. We got crushed by NE ( but I feel that most teams will get crushed by NE). We also beat suspect Indy and Miami teams. I need to see us pull off some wins against good defenses before I'm ready to guarantee playoffs. The Jets D will be a good test for us. I'd also like to see us shut down Eli and co.
  3. It's Rodak. What do you expect? He's the worst.
  4. Rex better be having them run wind sprints all day next practice. This is ridiculous.
  5. Hate that play on 3rd and 1. I wish TT called that one off.
  6. Ok. Gotta put the foot back on the gas.
  7. Please score on more td and then let's start to phase in the backups. Injuries are mounting up... Not good. Any update on Sammy or Miller?
  8. Good point. They won't let him throw much. TT has really impressed today. Happy for the kid.
  9. True or False: EJ will be playing today?
  10. Darby looks like he's in pain
  11. One more td and I'm fine with EJ going in. Sammy better be ok. McCoy's injury may be lingering like this all season. Let's hope Miller isn't seriously injured.
  12. Get your butt back out there Sammy!
  13. 9-7. Sorry folks. Our division is very difficult this year. I just don't see 11 wins... Though nothing would make me happier.
  14. Wow... Luck just cannot find an open receiver and has no time to throw. Jets secondary is nasty it seems. Hard to beat a shut-down secondary and strong pressure up front. I hate to say it but the Jets are impressive.
  15. I'm not saying Fitz is Brady.... but he is making some quick decisions back there. Decker and Marshall are solid. Atta boy Fitz. The Jets will be tough this year. Yeah I said it.
  16. That's a great question. He's like a soccer goalie that guesses correctly on every penalty shot. It's almost as if he has access to our........ Nah....
  17. I agree. BB does deserve credit. What surprised me most was how well they kept our front four at bay. They made their rookie O-Line look like a bunch of pro-bowlers. BB has this ability to plug any no-name person in, and somehow the Bills make them look like stars. I was disappointed in Rex's defensive gameplan, or maybe failure to adjust to BB's. How we got no pressure up the gut is beyond my comprehension. For Marcel to say Brady was getting it out too quickly, and there was "nothing he could do," was a cop-out (but this is a different topic).
  18. I agree it's not a long term solution, but there were many times in the game today that instead of bopping around the pocket, he could've taken off for 20 yards. It may have at least given him more confidence while making the Pats respect his running threat. Instead he took 7-8 sacks. I'll still keep the faith in him... but he will have to improve his decision making. (And I'm not taking anything away from his touchdowns -- I thought he really clawed back well in the 2nd half.)
  19. I like the optimism, and I love the fight TT had late in the game, but seriously, he was awful in the first half. Very indecisive, and waited too long. If our plan was to get the ball out of his hands quickly (like Brady), we failed. Hopefully he will learn a ton from this game and come back stronger. He was definitely rattled when they blitzed. I wish he would've taken off and run more. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and put the blame more on the coaches and their gameplay (or lack thereof).
  20. My biggest issue with Tyrod is that he wants to (or maybe the Bills want him to be) a "quarterback that can run." As a result, he was staying in the pocket way too long and taking sacks. He is no Tom Brady. He will not be beating teams with his arm. Maybe we have to allow Tyrod to just be the athlete that he is... and run the ball! He is the fastest QB in the league. Let's let him be a running quarterback. I feel that he missed many opportunities to take off and run while he was trying to make something happen with his arm. How about some designed QB runs too? Maybe it's more of a coaching issue.. Once BB decided to make TT beat him with his arm, we should've combatted by adjusting to let TT run loose. My opinion at least.
  21. I wonder if they'd rather have Cassell? They need a QB now.
  22. We're not connecting here. To be very clear: we didn't lose simply because of pregame talk. We lost because we were not prepared today, and we were incredibly undisciplined. I do believe we were the more talented team, and I believe we could've won. That falls on the coach. Thus Rex did not back up the pregame talk. And read my previous posts... I have absolutely focused on mistakes made on the playing field and with the coaching staff. From the start, all I said was this "shut your mouth next time, Rex." (As in, get your team ready next time.. Get them disciplined... And let your actions do the taking.)
  23. Again, my frustration comes from not backing up the talking.. There's nothing weak about that complaint. We were not prepared for a huge game. We have been incredibly undisciplined in the last two games. Some might blame AW (and yes, I hope he is ok)... But I blame Rex for not having his guys playing disciplined ball. How many personal fouls does Belichick's team take? I was expecting more from the team and more from Rex. I thought we were more ready to play. I'm not attacking simply the pre-game statements. I'm attacking the talk not being backed up. We hung in. It was a strong effort at the end... But too little, too late. We ultimately weren't ready to play ball today. This loss hurt, plain and simple. I'm hoping Rex pulls the guys together and gets everyone on the same page.
