Didn’t think trubisky needed to rush as much as he was. They had time to settle it down and all three time outs. Plus, why give Rodgers any time? That force into the end zone was stupid... they just needed to get 10 yards in two downs. Scratching my head.

I was wondering the same thing. It would go against the ‘team first’ mentality, but I could see them wanting to let Shady choose his spot versus trading him potentially to a place he didn’t want to be.

DiMarco and Lee Smith suck. I hope their locker room presence is enough to elevate the play of the players that can actually contribute. Surprised Gore and White were not on that list.

Unfortunately I have to agree here. Beane DID appear make us better on offense (hope this is clearly the case), but what scares me is that there is no one on our offense that will consistently demand double coverage. No one that requires specific game planning for. But yes, this will be on Allen. Hoping he becomes the guy that defenses have to worry about. Or he is able to seriously elevate our WR’s. Or Singletary somehow becomes a beast very quickly.. Not worried about our D (stay healthy!).. but our offense needs to prove that they can scare teams.

Regarding Shady, can someone explain why this was a money move for Buffalo that truly made sense this year? I get that he was overpaid given the output.... but unless we were using that 6M to help bring in a big name player, why not just pay him?... get rid of Yeldon instead. (Id take Shady straight up over Yeldon). We weren’t in cap trouble.. and he leaves next season. Or is the explanation simply that Terry gets to save money?
