Fortunately, the major dynamic that has changed is the Bills are viewed as an up and coming team, a potential SB contender and a top notch organization coaches would like to work for. I have to believe a lot of very well qualified OCs would be very interested in replacing Daboll, should he snag a HC job.

After today, I am more worried about Bass than the defense. I dread that first game that comes down to needing him to make a FG to win at the final gun.

We should count our blessings, we could have Matt Patricia.

How is the Oakland Coliseum not ranked at the bottom list? I guess the mystique of the Black Hole has something going for it because the stadium itself is a dump. They must have fixed the problem of raw sewage flowing through the stadium rest rooms. Regardless, I'll take New Era and its great sight lines any day.

As we old timers will remember, the Bills had the charging buffalo herd on the old black and white scoreboard screen (as bad as the quality of it was) in the late 80's/early 90's. The scoreboard was state of the art at the time. Times have certainly changed!

I have been so bored with no sports that I actually placed a bet on the Bills to win a Madden game listed on an offshore betting site. But, I'm not quite there yet to pick opening game uniforms. Damn virus!

I had the opportunity to meet him in person one time. When he found I was a Bills fan he had nothing but praise for the Bills fans. He said the Buffalo fan base was among the toughest to deal with of any of his opponents over the course of his career. A class act all the way!

All 32 teams face the same dilemma. The better managed teams will figure it out. Thank god we have Beane/McDermott to lead the Bills through it. Can you imagine having to rely on Rex, Whaley and crew to manage this process.

Does the standard NFL player contract contain any clauses that would cause them not to be paid in the event the season is cancelled for reasons outside the control of the league, such as this? Similar question for the tv contracts. Not many clubs have adequate cash flows to make player payrolls without, at a minimum, the tv revenues. Maybe Terry and Kim snuck in a PPP loan like the Lakers did so they can keep their super yacht running.

That could work out for the SEC and the schools in the South, but could be a tough one for the Big 10 and the ACC schools such as Pitt and BC should the season start in the Winter. It will be a challenge to put together a national playoff process under this scenario, but I give them credit to pushing ahead as a first step. A lot can happen between now and this Fall.
