This team has been on the cusp the last four years and has been outcoached each time. That tells us where the main problem lies. The big question becomes when are the Pegulas no longer satisfied with simply being on the cusp each year?

You hit the nail on the head. The new stadium, be it dome or no dome, should have been built outside of the damn snow belts in OP. Preferably on the north side of town. Yeah, they get snow too, but not like OP. I believe there was talk at one time about putting it in Lancaster near the T-Way with it's own dedicated T-Way exit, etc?

So true, I lived in WNY most of my life and had Bills season tickets for 30+ years before moving here to metro Detroit a few years back. The locals here are worried they are about to be overun by the Buffalo version of the Beverly Hillbillies coming to the big city for the first time. Downtown Detroit has really improved. I feel safer going to Ford Field than I did going to a Sabres game at the Aud. Besides, it has been quiet here lately. Only 3 murders last night!

I lived in Rochester for 30+ years before moving to Detroit. You have a better chance of getting mugged in downtown Rochester. Downtown Detroit around Ford Field is safe and there will be cops everywhere.

The forecast for here in Detroit has our lake effect snow ending before Sunday and most of the snow is forecast for north of Detroit. You should have no issues with snow on Sunday. I-75 straight to downtown Detroit.

Great for us Bills fans living here in Metro Detroit! Not so great for the 70,000 fans with tickets for the game in OP. Last time this happened for the Bills-Jets game played at Ford Field the tickets were free.

Spots next to Ford Field going for $100 plus. $30+ for spots with a 15-20 minute walk. No decent mass transit options in Detroit to use for the game.
