  1. My key takeaway after digesting all of this is I'd better take the under later this year on the Bills 2023 Vegas season won/loss line. Lot's to fix in one year.
  2. Let's not forget... the Chiefs coaching staff was smart enough not to send their kickoff into the end zone with :08 left in their biggest game of the year. Ours were not with :13 left and it cost us our best shot at a possible SB in years. Not sure how we fix the current coaching staff to get them to start "coaching smart" in playoff games. I guess McD should go out and hire another DC Assistant Coach, with this one holding the title of "DC Assistant - Playoff Games".
  3. Instead of Diggs to Dallas let's talk Jerry into trading his brother to Buffalo for Ed Oliver. We could throw in Roger Saffold as a bonus. but his contract has expired.
  4. I will be delighted if our new DC Assistant does nothing more than implement a strategy that results in our opponents not turning their 3rd and longs into 1st downs.
  5. Now don't try and fool us with accurate facts and appropriate and valid support of the points you presented.
  6. Forgetting about Poyer and Edmunds for the moment, and assuming PFF's Top 100 is accurate, I would not be too concerned about losing the vast majority of any of our free agents this year.
  7. McDermott wishes the quake happened the morning of our playoff game with Cinc'y. Then he could use that as the reason he didn't have the team ready to play the Bengals.
  8. Based on his recent problems in Texas he'd be a better fit backing up Chad Kelly in the CFL.
  9. After we got thumped in both games, we would have twice the reasons to question Frazier's defensive scheme in big on-the-line playoff games.
  10. I'll skip the "comical and childish hyperbole" and just stick to the facts. The last 4 years in a row this team has been outcoached (even Bill O'Brien outcoached us) and/or outplayed and not made it to a Super Bowl. This is a results driven league, not T-Ball where everybody gets a participation trophy at the end of the year. I'm tired of "close enough is good enough" and "tough loss, but we'll get them next year". Time to make some tough decisions to change the status-quo.
  11. This team has been on the cusp the last four years and has been outcoached each time. That tells us where the main problem lies. The big question becomes when are the Pegulas no longer satisfied with simply being on the cusp each year?
  12. Good for Diggs, unlike his coaching staff and a large part of the fan base, he is not willing to accept that "close enough was good enough" in the playoffs for yet another year.
  13. Agree, based on the Bills playoff performances since 2017, I guess we will simply need to accept with this coaching staff and fan base that "close enough is good enough".
  14. It's good to see a local WNY kid from Canandaigua make it to the big time! If he can fix the train wreck Chicago Bears, he will be considered a miracle worker.
  15. I just hope we find a "new way" to improve our kickoff coverage team. Enough of this kick it to the corner stuff. It's not working. Just have Bass kick the damn ball into the endzone.
  16. Are you really Jerry Sullivan in disguise? That is the type of question Sullivan usually asks.
  17. You hit the nail on the head. The new stadium, be it dome or no dome, should have been built outside of the damn snow belts in OP. Preferably on the north side of town. Yeah, they get snow too, but not like OP. I believe there was talk at one time about putting it in Lancaster near the T-Way with it's own dedicated T-Way exit, etc?
  18. They are jacked up.... $70-$80 next to Ford Field. Download the Parkwiz parking app or the Best Parking app and pre-book. There are cheaper lots available, but a bit of a walk.
  19. So true, I lived in WNY most of my life and had Bills season tickets for 30+ years before moving here to metro Detroit a few years back. The locals here are worried they are about to be overun by the Buffalo version of the Beverly Hillbillies coming to the big city for the first time. Downtown Detroit has really improved. I feel safer going to Ford Field than I did going to a Sabres game at the Aud. Besides, it has been quiet here lately. Only 3 murders last night!
  20. I lived in Rochester for 30+ years before moving to Detroit. You have a better chance of getting mugged in downtown Rochester. Downtown Detroit around Ford Field is safe and there will be cops everywhere.
  21. The forecast for here in Detroit has our lake effect snow ending before Sunday and most of the snow is forecast for north of Detroit. You should have no issues with snow on Sunday. I-75 straight to downtown Detroit.
  22. Great for us Bills fans living here in Metro Detroit! Not so great for the 70,000 fans with tickets for the game in OP. Last time this happened for the Bills-Jets game played at Ford Field the tickets were free.
  23. Poor Ralph Wilson, the old master of "cash to the cap", is probably rolling over in his grave with this $$ figure.
  24. For those of you coming to Detroit, be aware downtown will be busy as the Thanksgiving Day Parade starts at 10am. You can download the Parkwiz app and reserve a parking spot in advance for the game. Spots next to Ford Field going for $100 plus. $30+ for spots with a 15-20 minute walk. No decent mass transit options in Detroit to use for the game.
  25. Wink Martindale also deserves a major portion of the credit for improving the Giant's defense. It is not all Daboll.
