    It will be interesting to see the guaranteed amount. I wonder if his agent pushed signing now vs. risking the potential of additional concussions in his renewal year and the impact that would have on free agency. The financial risk of additional concussions now resides with Bills vs. Benford.

    They are employed by the Bills, what do you expect? Would you have the chops to say something particularly bad about your employer over the radio/social media, knowing it may get you canned?

    Save your post in your files. It will save your from having to retype the same thing next year and every other year McDermott is here as HC. Unfortunately, we will continue to always be one of the 31, unless some tough decisions are made.

    Yeah, and Ralph "hurt" the fans when he purposely drafted the lease that makes it pretty much financially impossible to move the team for 30+ years. If the Bills moved, do you think the NFL, or anybody outside Western New York would demand a new franchise be placed in Buffalo?

    If the Bills were in need of hiring a new GM and HC would you be comfortable with Terry Pegula making these decisions on his own? The "good" owners know their limitations and bring in the experts with the right skills to help in these cases. Unfortunately, a majority of the NFL owners rely on the egos and make these calls on their own. Kudos to Pegula for not being one of them.

    I took my son to his first Bills game when he was 5 years old. When we got home my wife asked him what he liked best about the game. His response was "Mom, they were peeing in the sink in the restroom". This is our equivalent of The Masters, " a tradition like no other"!

    I knew my parents were wrong when they told me studying hard and getting good grades was more important than concentrating on sports in school.

    Our future would be better if the damn undefeated Vikings would start self-destructing. The 2025 2nd round pick we got for moving Diggs (Minnesota via Houston) is falling lower every week they keep winning.

    You are right on point. What makes it more frustrating is missed tackles have been an issue for the Bills teams for much of McDermott's time in Buffalo. It needs to improve before playing KC and the other heavy hitters on the schedule.

    Be careful what you wish for. Bates started out strong but, per the Detroit media out here, has hit a "brick wall" and is struggling big time. Kickers &%#^*!

    I'm surprised the NFL isn't lobbying Congress to allow them to assess and collect a drone flying license fee, equivalent to a PSL, from anyone flying their drones over/near an NFL stadium.

    I don't have a clue in my simple brain as to what Beane should/will do. He has something up his sleeve. All I know is if we keep the #2 from Houston, I will be praying for Minnesota to hit the bottom next year. A high 30's - low 40's pick in 2025 will keep me happy. In Beane we trust.

    Unfortunately, in this day and age, the most important members of an NFL team aren't the HC and GM. It is the team attorney.

    True, the Detroit News ran a story out here today that the non-playoff teams have to do a lot of high-risk/cost deals. Last year, the top 5 spenders were Denver, New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago and Las Vegas. None even sniffed the playoffs. Carolina will be the 2024 leader of the pack.

    Given the cap space from Tre isn't available until post-June 1, are the Bills prohibited from reaching a "handshake deal" with a player now that is actually signed after June 1? If yes, that may way a to grab a player they want now but can't sign because of current cap constraints.

    Smaller jets? They normally fly a Delta Airbus 350. Over 300 seats and many of those are Delta One and Premium Select. I think they want the Bills to copy NE and buy their own 767 and equipment it with only first class seats. That 4 1/2 hour jaunt to California is brutal.

    Bring you to the playoffs, but not put you over the top. That sounds like a Head Coach that we all know and love.
