Don't see how. Williams just got a massive contract. He’s missed most of the season anyway. So what stats could he have possibly been trying make? Its more believable the team - several of them missed most of the season Williams and Allen the two main ones - just wanted to get more reps together and momentum going in to the post season because Herbert has been very just meh. I’m sure the players were fine with it but the Coach absolutely has final say. Your made of glass WR didn’t need to play. I’m not sure he’s fully recovered from that ankle sprain anyway.
