I'm a big McD guy and have been since the team celebrated that huge first down catch vs the Raiders by I think it was Holmes his first season as coach. My initial reactions after 13 seconds, while needing 24 hours to cool off (that he should have been fired you don't recover from a loss like this - you don't lose like this) - but that thought is still in the back of my mind and until we win a SB hangs over his legacy. I hate it because he's transform this franchise. But it's still a business. And it's a cruel one at times. Just knowing if this goes south and say this coaching job opens up, it will be the premier destination for any head coach like Payton - and thats a bit comforting honestly. That hasn't been the case here ever. Now it won't be open any time soon either and I'm not saying his job is on the line. But Andy Reid was never "under fire" for losses like we've had the last 2 seasons while he's had peak Mahomes and a much worse defense. Standards are up everywhere here and that includes the coaching. I think we need to show much more calm and poise in the close big games then we've been. And I'd like to see us talk about the playoffs and division and chill out with the SB or bust talk for now.

When Herbert is under fire....he is not the same QB. That's not something new because of the ribs either.

You see how they run the offense - they have a few quality running backs - one tore his Achilles 10 months ago, the other his Lisfranc 13 months ago - THEY RUN THE BALL WELL. That element has to be there. Not to be ground and pound. But to protect your QB and open the passing game - a running attack gives your QB time because the D line can't just tee off knowing it's a pass 95% of the time. Figure out the freaking running attack please. That is all.

If LT Staley is out again that's a big deal This game we really need the front 4 healthy. So far teams blitzing Lamar have gotten beat - however .... They were not very good vs the Jets Miami actually played them well. Baltimore TDs - Opening KO return, two broken 70 plus yard TD plays....they completely stalled in the 4th quarter and were really inconsistent The Patriots are terrible As usual, I think if we score 30, have Morse and Poyer and a healthy D line, we win. But close.

We need play action to be part of the attack.....when we get pass happy we do ourselves no favors. The defense needs to be kept honest. The Dolphins Dline just pinned their ears back. We really need Morse back. We ran 83 plays. Josh threw or ran the ball on 71 of them. By the 4th Q the Dolphins knew what we were doing.

Well coached is debatable. They have a very good defense - maybe the best D we see all year. They're playing the same D as they did last year. And I saw what we did to them today. Just didn't punch it in. And that Josh TO in the first q.....keep forgetting they scored on short field.

Pretty much But the Dolphins and Jags are playoff teams - for Miami to be "for real," they'll have to win a few more games without the other team beating itself first. Oh I'll talk about it - but mentally I'm in a place where honestly, I didn't really think we would win today. Way too depleted way too much carnage in the training room in the last 2 weeks. This team has been through a lot here. And we still had them. Yes. Which is why starting at 2-0 was huge. The Chiefs and Chargers are going to lose today. It's all good. I maintain the most important thing is to be playing well and being healthy going into the post season. Which by the way - everyone needs a freaking re focus and understand that is JOB ONE. Just get in. The 1 seed is great but if it doesn't happen - I literally couldn't care less. The best teams win. And I think we have the best team. Burn the injuries thread please.

Didn't worry about this last year after the wind game I sure as ***t am not going to worry about in week 3, sitting here at 2-1 and knowing when not missing half the roster with injury that we're still the best team in the league.
