  1. I remember when he said this. I didn’t disagree. If the West collapses (it is on its current track) that’s what takes its place. That, or a Chinese like police state. It’s one or the other. In both scenarios, the cause is leftists gone bat ***t insane.
  2. Over 1 million people
  3. That’s it right there. The OC hasn’t shown any consistency or has gotten the most out of the weapons he’s been given is the bigger issue. I don’t know if this offense knows what it wants to be. It’s trying to be everything and it doesn’t work that way. The Chiefs are running far more because they have an elite interior O line. Mahomes isn’t putting up the numbers he did when he had Hill. But they always get plays when they need them bc their OC (Reid) knows how to use his guys.
  4. I agree I’m taking McDs words as there isn’t an ACL tear. I don’t need him to be an eternal optimist right now bc he thinks the fan base need it or something and then later say if they find out he did “well we were holding out hope there.” If they don’t know yet that should have been his answer “we don’t know yet.”
  5. Lol yep the way they throw flags on the Chiefs when they’re certain the Chiefs are in control of the game.
  6. I don’t think McD would have said that especially with what happened with Von.
  7. That was missing White and had a vastly inferior D AND O line. Our corners with a healthy Benford are arguably significantly better than the group from that game.
  8. I’m just going to hope Dorian is legit and then I don’t feel as dejected. Dorian has to play these next 3 games to figure things out. Can always sub for him like we did this week. Bernard - Dorian Dodson - Klein If Dorian is just good, with our D line we should still be great v meh offenses and hopefully ok/just hold on v elite ones.
  9. Not good enough.
  10. Fact checked. All true. The deal they rejected in 2000 was the closest we’ve ever come or will ever come to a peace deal - they walked away essentially saying there’s never going to be a deal.
  11. Giants fan X account - actually a great follow
  12. The Steelers secondary is trash. They lost their big run stuffer Heyward and are 3-2. Just held down the Ravens to 10 points. TJ Watt and Fitzpatrick are the only real players on that D. The Lions lost their prized UFA in Gardner Johnson and now Mosely. The Eagles lost their version of Taron Johnson for the season. The Bengals went to the SB down their top CB and the worst Oline in the league. The Chiefs have gotten there with meh defenses. It’s only decimating if the players and coaches let it be - so long as the D line is in tact: Groot Oliver Von Floyd AJE Philips Ford Settle Jonathan Shaq And Hyde Benford and Dane stay on the field. No reason THAT defense should completely fall off a cliff. I expect a drop off. But no way should any teams not named the Eagles Chiefs Bengals Chargers Dolphins or Jags put up more then 24 on us. In those games we will need to score 30.
  13. If they were riding high I’d be concerned But they’re a disaster and their offense is as decimated as our D. I think they lost their MLB v Miami. 2 rookie corners. If Thomas doesn’t play this game will be close to a bye. They are that bad. This doesn’t mean the team can take them or any team lightly but I can.
  14. Nothing against McD - let me put aside the unforgivable 13 seconds for a minute - he’s a great coach. I personally love him and would run thru a wall for him. But the inconsistency on offense is the risk you run with inexperienced OCs or revolving doors at OCs. Great points OP about the “what is the Bills “go to” play?” It appears it’s still “Let Josh make the incredible happen.” I really wanted that win yesterday because it would have completely erased the “I can feel a let down game coming” vibe this team has at least twice a season that’s costed them home field advantage. A game the coaches assert themselves as elite coaches. The inconsistency on a fully healthy offense is maddening.
  15. Vera-Tucker - torn Achilles This season is a borderline disaster And it sounds like Jefferson’s hamstring injury is going to keep him out awhile.
  16. And if we’re say the 6 seed - that’s likely the Jags Chiefs or Dolphins in Round 1. The AFC North winner has 4 seed written all over them.
  17. I think 11-6 barring any more catastrophic injuries. I think we’ll get to 6-2. Finish 5-4. Losses: Bengals Chiefs Chargers Eagles If we pull off a win in one of these I’d be good. We’re going to beat Dallas at home. Miami might not need to win week 18. So I’m currently leaving that TBD. 10-7 with what could be 6 conference losses might not even make playoffs. Just get in. Hope for the best. Just like I felt after Thanksgiving in 2021. And Thanksgiving in 2022.
  18. This is not normal I’m sorry it’s just not. Either it’s something in how they’re training or the turf or both That’s 2 big pieces on their D now - Gardner Johnson the other - done for the year. Our locker room needs to talk to theirs my guess is Coach Campbell won’t have them feeling sorry for themselves. Not saying McD can’t get them there as well but if last year is an indication and now couple it with the devastating losses this year (and it’s far from over) I have reason to be concerned. My first thought when I saw the look on Von’s face yesterday early in the 2nd half was that blank stare look of like “I can’t believe this ***t. Tre, again, now Matt and DaQuan. Wtf.”
  19. This is what has to change going forward. Time for under center PA to be the feature and start focusing on being a power run team that will throw it all over you if we want instead of being the throw it all over you team and then pretend to be a power run team when we absolutely have to have it. Too much is about to be put on Josh again bc this defense is going to be a disaster come the 2nd half of the season when we play the elite offenses. Need to shift (adjust) the philosophy.
  20. And I’m back in the wth exactly does James Cook do here camp. Meanwhile, Zach Moss looks like Thurman Thomas.
