It’s division title or bust (updates on non-Bills games)

The Miami O will scare me a bit more if Mostert and Waddle practice in full. McD’s D on the road has only stifled the Chiefs. Who are terrible. Need to bring it against a good O on the road. And how hurt is Allen. Legitimate concerns. But I don’t think as bad as Miami’s. Who also, don’t have to play as desperate as we likely will.

Soft on crime Democrats - the system is the problem?

The collapse of Western Civilization brought to you by Democrat Voters of America. -
Yes it was a trap John. None of our leftist loser friends here understand how awful society is going to be for EVERYONE because of their hypocrisy and blatant disregard for the importance of impartiality and letting the public decide - they surrendered everything to DEI and the woke mob. That means all standards that are based on merit and skill are gone. Let that sink in. Western Civilization is going to collapse and look something like China or worse real quick. Great minds NC, great minds.

Something about the NFL script writers putting that game essentially on in primetime tho…….I think they believe the game will be competitive. Mason Rudolph could implode vs backups that could frustrate the Steelers offense. I don’t see the Ravens scoring much tho. Steelers 20 Ravens 17 - I think it will be close.

What's Wrong With The Passing O?
Big Blitz replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also - they only rush 3 here on this 1st and 15 Allen has problems when 8 guys are in coverage - most QBs do. But look at the Pats zone discipline they are truly covering every blade of grass. A run here probably gets you 5 plus but BB handed it to Brady all day confident on this play we were throwing. -

So how are we feeling about Coach McDermott?
Big Blitz replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
The consensus among fans was that Marv was the right coach for the collection of egos that made up that team. No one called for his firing after even the 3rd SB loss. Very faint if any. I recall there were times more people at times called for Reich to start over Kelly if he had a bad game which of course was ridiculous. Marv had a great OC in Marchibroda from 1989 to 1992 and that was as elite as the offense would be under Kelly. Still good after he left but those were the peak seasons. As time passed most will now tell you if the team had a better collection of defensive coaches (or head coach in general) maybe we win one. I’m of the belief we were out coached badly in SB 25 and the other 3 we faced teams with superior talent that would have required significantly better coaching to win. Marchibroda was gone by then and the defense was just average despite having the greatest defensive player ever in Bruce. This has contributed to my attitude toward McD now. I don’t want to waste Allen and look back saying “man, he really just needed a better OC after Daboll left.” -
Joe Brady vs Ken Dorsey- Has He Been Better?
Big Blitz replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looking over the stats - 37 runs vs NE against 31 drop backs. I wonder if Brady sensed this was going to be a game the Pats were daring us to throw and he refused to get baited and limited the INT risk. Like he just thought this isn’t going to be a 2 or 3 INT game and I know our defense has this under control. Maybe. It’s not often you see us run that much. I know 11 of it was Allen but that counts. I think felt Allen wasn’t feeling it - that’s part of what an OC has to see in game. Of course I’d like him to fix it in game. Who is the coach on field with Allen to get in his face and wake him up? Same v the Chargers. Basically, let’s not repeat week 1. I think all that’s happened is we feel we have an upgrade at OC but we need to pump the brakes on he’s a definite solution. -

Always loved him always knew he was a good coach and one of the 5 best in the league - until 13 seconds (was still a good coach but this was unforgivable and why he could end up being replaced), the OC choice, the “stepping away” of Frazier, the firing of the OC, Diggs drama, and the way this team played down to competition this year, all were red flags of a team that had tuned him out or at least wasn’t responding to the message anymore. The team’s response to him after the Chiefs game says a lot and eliminates my concern about them tuning him out. He remains able to get buy in and he’s proven he knows defense. But this offense and its QB - if they play Sunday night like they did against New England, how do you not ask “what is the answer here?” Well firing him ain’t happening regardless Sunday so this discussion in my opinion is over until next season. They won’t fire him after doing what he’s done and then goes 10-7. My wanting to replace McD is almost exclusively about getting someone to maximize Josh Allen, not Terrell Bernard. I’ll say this. If he wins Sunday I’m letting 13 seconds go. Because if he finishes this run off here down the stretch it’s probably the best work of coaching he’s done here. While being DC on top of that. Miami is beat up and not as desperate as we should be. Win. Get the 2 seed. He’ll have proved he can do that with a garbage OC he fired mid season which should go a long way for fans and then hopefully we get or found already the right one. -
I’d start with more under center play action.
