There it is. Yep. Their offense is not why they won the SB this season. The story of their season was the defense it was the first words out of Reid’s and Mahomes mouth in postgame.

And he’s only lost to Mahomes and Burrow in January. Blame him for 13 seconds. Blame him for the Bengals game. He gets credit for 2023 and if not for dam near every player on D getting hurt and being hampered with Von we were right there as the 2 seed in a 3 point loss vs the SB champs. The great news is the Oline and running game looks revamped and ready for January. The bad news is we might need 2 safeties, 2 defensive ends, 2 DTs, and a WR. But the Chiefs replaced that whole 2021 defense on the fly. I expect this team to as well.
