Week 4 - Bills at Ravens Game Week Thread
Big Blitz replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just expect to win every game. I've felt this way for about 80 percent of all Josh Allen quarterbacked games. It’s been over 90 percent since 2022. I’m realistic, I know 15-2 is darn near impossible. Win Sunday against these frauds, and I feel like going 9-4 the rest of the way is the floor. I notice the Texans started ramping up Mixon today. That ain’t for Sunday. They know they have zero chance against us next week if he ain’t out there on his high ankle sprain. -

This is going to hit like crack at the parade I’ve watched some version of this like 50 different times.

Dolphins had Tua for almost 3 full quarters against us and we curb stomped them. We made their offense disappear. The week before, Jacksonville melted down v Miami in the 2nd half and they’ve been in a tailspin since. Arizona and MHJ look like a legit top 10 offense. Their defense is suspect but they destroyed the Rams and were close against Detroit. The next 3 games are much tougher than the first 3 but it doesn’t get much harder then at Baltimore at Houston and at the Jets Defense. That doesn’t mean these first 3 games were easy. But beyond this stretch….which if we emerge just 4-2 I’d be fine so long as the win is the Jets: Home vs the Titans lol. At the Colts and at the Rams (both defenses are a mess). I have zero worries about the Lions and home v the Chiefs and 49ers. Then 4 more games vs our division with 3 at home. At Seattle mixed in there. We keep doing what we’re doing - 13-4 is achievable. ESPECIALLY if we get to 5-1 by week 7. Have to beat KC. I don’t see 5 losses on the Chiefs schedule.

Joe Brady has changed the season's expectations

I’m rethinking as the game is changing. You’re going to see a dramatic slowdown in OCs being favored to get these jobs. Especially the teams with established QBs. Defense is back. And teams need leaders of men to handle guys that just made millions playing college football and can still develop the way the Bills and others have. Right now, only Kevin O’Connell is making it work - and guess what he did. Brought in an elite DC. DCs or known Leaders of men or both Chargers Seattle Texans Washington Patriots Raiders Steelers keep winning Baltimore keeps winning We keep winning Jets are winning, for now Tampa - Bowles Arizona- Gannon Detroit - Campbell is an offensive guy but unquestionably a leader of men Chicago - stuck with Eberflus management drafted the wrong QB but we’ll be talking more about that later. It’s Williams. Not the OC. The GM botched all this. OC head guys still getting it done: Reid, obviously McVay Shanny (is he?) LaFleur Currently falling apart: Miami Cincy Jacksonville Dallas Tennessee - Levis is bad Colts - Richardson is worse Browns - Watson is a disaster; defense carried them in 2023 Flacco my rear end Worth noting: Ben Johnson - that O doesn’t look as good Slowik - same as Detroit Jury still out: Canalas If Brady and other OCs or DCs are smart they don’t have to take the first job. Which in 2025 in order could be: Jacksonville Giants Jets Philly Chicago Cleveland Arizona Dallas Which one is most appealing? Which one would want Brady? Chicago? Is he a fit with Caleb? Philly? Dallas? More importantly are those teams going to hand it over to a first time coach to fix their current messes. -

Buffalo Bills: Elite early season team, year after year

Which of those seasons saw the kind of roster turnover we’ve had in 2024? Whatever. It feels good so enjoy the highs because the lows suck. No week 3 champion banners here. -

The Histories will say it was Covid Lockdowns that woke the kids up to what tyranny is. School children crying over their state issued laptops by the millions not understanding anything their masked up teachers were doing over weeks that turned to months and over a year plus. -

I think they have Diggs circled on the calendar. -
They ran for 275 yards RAN for that against Dallas. I expect the exact same script. Just hold them to FGs I like our chances in a Bass v Tucker game.* *If you read that like “wtf” then we need a new kicker.

Keon Coleman - benched 1st quarter for being late

I agree. I bet if it was really egregious it’s not even mentioned. But it’s good to see accountability and more importantly this didn’t distract the team in the slightest - more evidence it was probably very minor. Which being disciplined for also a good thing.
