I didn't like that he qualified by saying we'll see what happens this week and Allen won't be playing. In my mind if Lamar gets 5 TDS and they beat the Browns 38-3 means nothing as far as changing the argument for Josh.

Is the fact lost on anybody, when discussing their supporting casts, that Ravens have 9 Pro Bowlers and the Bills 2 !!!!!

The Media pundits are out in full force this morning proclaiming Lamar as MVP! Lots of links go check their opinions for yourself. I sense Josh is about to miss out on the award again. After seeing the Pro Bowl picks above (and I think they'll be right) the Ravens will have many more Stars to help Lamar than the Bills do. However, one article even went so far as to say the Bills Defense/Special Teams, and his so-called betrayal index, were much stronger than what Lamar and Burrow have? Are you kidding me? He doesn't even address the skill positions on offense supporting these guys, just ignores it. Oh well just win the Super Bowl and F these awards.

Well 2 things can happen concurrently, he could win the MVP and the SB.

There are no elite defenses this season! Some are better than others, but offense has to carry the day (even for teams like the Ravens, Chiefs, Lions etc.. Yes getting an occasional stop or turnover give extra possessions. But, you need to score in the Red Zone and double dip around halftime to win. And, be prepared to put up 30.

NO! I have always felt he was good to very good and not great. Dan Marino was 2x the QB Aikman ever dreamed of being.

Imagine in a season where not only Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are having the seasons they are, but Saquon Barkley and Jared Goff are having MVP type seasons. All on teams with outstanding playoff records for divisional champs and Super Bowl contenders. And, you go national TV as Aikman did and announce MVP support for the guy who's 8-8 because you like guys stats and style. SMDFH

I like a Denver matchup for us (which is the most likely). Our Offensive line will at least stalemate and likely win against their strength in the defensive front. I also feel like Surtain is less valuable against a team that spreads it around on offense. On defense for us, they don't have a scary offense to deal with and a rookie QB coming to Buffalo. Having said that we beat Miami as well in cold weather, but it's a divisional matchup I'd prefer to avoid. Cincy ain't making it and I'd prefer not to have to deal with their offense. All is good .

My friends of other teams are saying to me; man the Bills have alot of weapons to deal with. And, that's only true if JA17 is at QB. It's a nice team group and it's plenty good enough to win the Super Bowl with.

How I see it playing out: (nothing earth shaking) AFC 1. KC 2v7 BUF v DEN 3v6 BAL v PIT 4v5 HOU v LAC NFC 1. DET 2v7 PHI v GB 3v6 LAR v WSH 4v5 TB v MIN

Don't forget the Colts while worrying about the Bengals making it. They're far more likely to be the last seed.

From an observer since the 70s, Josh Allen peak is at a level Jim Kelly could only dream about....and Jim would agree. I'm not much for the argument that his cumulative stats are better. That's just ballast to the career.....Josh will add in time. To me the taller guy will always be better and no matter how fat the shorter guy was he'll never be taller.
