  1. I think we have to look at this game for #1 seed as not that big of a deal. We had our bye this past week, we're almost healthy. So Chiefs get the bye, but if we meet again it won't be in Arrowhead! Don't drive yourself nuts worrying about this game. Win tomorrow and get on with the playoffs.
  2. That's why I want to see the votes
  3. Ok the NFL has spoken and the rules are in place and everyone knows them. All that's left is for the refs to completely "bone" the Chiefs tomorrow and all is well!
  4. Indy has a National Volleyball tournament the same weekend so its likely out
  5. I want to see the votes, and abstaining is a ***** move.
  6. It's too bad Taylor responded the way he did!
  7. My thoughts exactly well said! By the time we're done with that crew voting the Cowboys will be hosting the Patriots for the Super Bowl next weekend!
  8. If there is any justice in the world Raiders beat KC , Bills beat NE and Cin beats Balt 3 Dbag coaches Reid, Fat Belly and John (i whine endlessly) Harbaugh lose The above 3 are also dudes I wonder how they would've handled the situation Monday night-check that I don't wonder because all that matters to them is winning football games.
  9. The more I think about this I like the 8th team idea and no Byes this year. I can live with the current idea being voted on, but the 8th team seems to be less interruptive and just as fair if not more.
  10. We are ranked number 1 (or close to) many of the objective measures such as FPI,SRS, 538 etc. which I'm sure many voters look at.
  11. Sounds like the resolution they're working towards is making the most reasonable of a suboptimal situation. Given the Bills had a terrible event out of their control occur and this is on the table- I'd take it. At least the Bills don't get "boned" completely like could have happened.
  12. Yes, and if both the Chiefs and Bills lose the Bengals would still have a chance for the top 2 spots.
  13. Well I believe the solution being bandied about by Scheffter and others about the 1 an 2 seeds having a choice between a bye and Home field is a real fair possibility.
  14. Someone remind me why we're forfeiting when the league may just declare the game a no contest or give each team a tie?
  15. Not sure being 2 or 3 means very much. Balt (is Lamar playing) looks to be 6, NE, Mia(is Tua playing), PIT? Won't know your opponent going into Sunday. No solution is perfect, just seems like the most reasonable.
  16. League needs to avoid this scenario: Game is declared no contest, we're going by W%, then on Sat. KC wins. Standings then: KC 14-3 BUF 12-3 CIN 11-4 No incentive for BUF, who is playing a team NE battling for playoffs, other teams including MIA,PITT,Jax? are impacted in a negative competitive manner. Adding the choice of Bye or Home Field is a way of balancing the scales between 1 and 2. Bills would be interested in staying ahead of CIN. Also would give CIN an opportunity for 1 or 2 given they win and BIlls lose. NOTE: Cin owns the tiebreaker over us from what I've seen (SOV)
  17. Yeah heard him on the radio on way to work-good call!
  18. It sounds, from Sheffter, that an idea may be gaining traction on giving the highest W% the choice of a bye or homefield. And, of course the remaining #2 W% would get the other unchosen option. Not bad
  19. The Bills/Bengals restart is not happening, no way, no how. Neither team will go for it, and the NFL has no taste for it interrupting playoffs.
  20. The chance of the Bills not playing is 0%- mark it down.
