  1. The game is far more random than many choose to believe. Our brains try to assign it to something that explains what happened and thus understanding. Randomness especially in regard to fumbles lost, referee calls, weather etc. cause tons of noise and randomness. If the Bills gain the 2 reversed calls back because its another day/game and its a few inches one way or the other then that game is a blowout. I'm more inclined to believe the Dolphins were extremely fortunate in that game-it happens. The ball was bouncing to Seiler, Beasley miss etc. and it made the normal look much worse. Look you try to improve on things (don't hold the ball like a loaf of bread Josh), but at the end of the day some things are out of your control and he is who he is. He's not an old school QB like Burrow and Burrow can't be Josh.
  2. LOL. a little harsh but.....Of course no one believes in throwing caution to the wind. But, I think both teams play a certain style and much of it depends on the QB and playmakers making off schedule plays. The mindset of both is there can and will be some turnovers and they let their guys be themselves. Correct and move on. People have been getting their panties in knots because we had some turnovers but still won last week and if we do that this week we won't win. No kidding, I still want my guy to play his game this week and I bet he doesn't make the same mistakes this week.
  3. Overall the Chiefs are 3-2 in those games but turned it over 8x to Bills 3x. All but one of the games, when Chiefs went -4 and Bills won 38-20, were either neutral or +/- 1 so not a big difference. As a matter of fact three of games were dead even 0/0 or 1/1, not a huge difference.
  4. Interesting thought that I've has as well. There has to be a cost/benefit element to it. Old school Parcells thought process of don't be so aggressive as to make mistakes may not be as relevant to a game where the rules are skewed as they are.
  5. I am very confident because I believe Josh Allen is an asset to the team and not something that needs to be overcome to win. Be who you are Josh and I'm good because you're the player I've always wanted this team to have as QB. Don't change just learn from mistakes.
  6. Some fans sound like he (JA17) is holding us back and it makes laugh!
  7. If Bengals play like they did against Ravens they lose 100%
  8. The Favre comparison is a bad one. He's way more Elway and for those who remember him Bert Jones, who was unreal before he hurt his shoulder.
  9. I felt like the first game they tried to bully our DBs with their big WRs (they do seem to love the short pass and physical run after catch). Their 4 primary receivers Chase, Boyd, Hurst and Higgins average 6-3, 220 by comparison the Bills receivers are 6-1, 208 But, when you compare Bengals receivers to our secondary (top 6 guys who play) the Bills are only 6-0,192 big difference of 3 inches and 30 lbs. We have to tackle really well in secondary Sunday!
  10. Josh should continue to go balls deep!
  11. Just block and ignore me since I'm the world's biggest problem.
  12. The defense had a hand full of plays that went their way. The offense had a handful that went against them. The special teams play was a big disappointment. On another day, everything is different. That's why you win and survive, the rest is noise.
  13. Dude, I can't tell you how off base you are with this. Chill out. I don't think you even know what as hominem is because you just did it to me and I personally attacked no one. Over and out! Done.
  14. My biggest fear is the physical short passing game the Bengals use with Chase, Higgins, and Hurst. They're big and look to gain YAC. Our secondary and LBs are for the most part not big, they need to have a really good game tackling.
  15. My solution? the coaches go over the turnovers and point out what EVERYONE could have done better then move on. Fans worry that it will happen the next game exactly the same way and there's no way we're beating Joe Burrow if we do that. Mark my words the Bengals should worry that if those plays don't happen they're in trouble.
  16. Finally someone speaks the truth!
  17. In the pocket can't be horse collar
  18. Bengals short passing game is so physical, they force your secondary and LBs to tackle
  19. Ravens OL is nasty maybe they can at least bloody them up for us next week
  20. My wife said it's no fun watching this game with you!
  21. The two reversed big pass plays were just enormous today. Either one goes our way and its a way different game today.
  22. He had little to no time and his hot route screwed up. But yeah Just protect the ball you bum. Some of people crack me up it's so easy.
