That's about it, exactly as you say! -
Not a process guy and an actual high talent at receiver. After last April, it will be hard for Beane to check his ego at the door.

The stuff that bothers people these days is astounding. Now wonder everyone has anxiety, they're all sweating the small stuff.

Thanks. But, don't forget the other teams have traded resources as well, not just the Bills.

Everyone in the NFL knows our playbook I heard on NFL radio today that only 3 guys this season in concussion protocol have actually played that week. -

Too long! -
During the Beane draft years (2018-25), Coleman is the only premium draft pick (Rounds 1-3) used on a wideout. Valuing the 3 rounds at (8-5-3) a reasonable system IMO. Where do the Bills rank? They rank DEAD LAST in the NFL with 5 points!! An average NFL team spent 21 pts on WR. And basically all the top teams (KC, SF, BAL, GB) during this period spent over the average on WR. Even if you included the Traded First rounder for Diggs the Bills rank in the bottom quartile. He doesn't value receivers high enough and that's how you end up in the pickle we're in. And, yes he has not handled the cap well by resigning a bunch of his draft picks believing he had succeeded in drafting well.

Every NFL coach is one loss away from being fired by their fans! -
Then tell him to at least get rid of Beane and have someone else making personnel decisions. He sucks. So many chances to get things right and he can't!
-
The missed simplicity over the course of this era as to what better wide receivers would do for this team is mind blowing. Beane has the ingrained philosophy from the Cam Newton era in Carolina, priority number 8 is playmakers on the outside, even after Running backs!

If this keeps Coleman out I'm in favor!

Ben Johnson?? Ben Johnson?? LOL
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Ben Johnson has real upside as a coach. Vrabel is a good coach, maybe better than McDermott. Having Beane in the equation also creates a cloud because he has the Carolina priorities woven into his team building. Basically, if he's here I think he would hold back both the above guys as well! -

There will be changes this offseason, not buying the argument some make that we're going to run it back because of the new stadium. -
Time to Rebuild? Too Many Beane Holes.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall
The biggest hole on this team is at WR. Last year the NFL hadn't figure out had bad we were at the position. The negative impacts are: Josh is holding the ball too long sometimes and forcing things to make a play. We never chip with a back a great edge rusher like Anderson because we need people out on routes. The OL has to hold up. The running game would be even better if we didn't have to run into 8-9 man boxes. The defense needs to play with a lead. That's the script. We are devoid of talent and can't stop the run unless teams have to play catch up against us. We have to be perfect most games. The games we lost think NE, Atl, Mia, Hou 20 pts, 14 pts, 13 garbage pts, 19 pts and at least 3 TOs in all those games. Far from perfect. -

He could get rid of Beane and I'd take that for now. I don't want him making anymore personnel decisions for my team. Championship Roster? on more than one occasion he's believed that. The coaching staff is canoeing upstream right now. -
Go on record... Fire McDermott?
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know a guy who said this was a championship roster only a couple weeks ago. That in and of itself is a problem. If someone can look at this roster and say that in his judgement -good enough. The sad thing is just bringing in a better WR would have had a domino effect on this team. There's still holes, but it would make a difference to an offense that is folding.Fire Beane
